I started watching not understanding at all how such a run works and having never seen so much of the game. The way you reacted to the spider early on is the part that clued me into how it works. Such an interesting twist of fate. Almost like it was scripted. Like the insignificant character early on that gives you unusual trouble that turns out to be the true secret final boss. And is sort of a joke. Simply amazing skills. I was in awe the whole time. That's some very fine tuned and specialized neural circuitry.
Don't know or understand how you did all of that so quickly. I've managed to get past so much in this game but you have blown my mind! That last sun challenge would have ate my lunch! Awesome job 👏
this dude is so god damn wholesome. he treats the eggplant child and eggplant minister like pets and not in the "i own this" kinda sense like when you are at a friends house and you meet their dog thats how he treats them
Started playing Spelunky1 a couple months ago, got speedlunky, then watched your lunky2 discovery VODs, been waiting for a while to watch this run and what a treat damn :D
I wonder if theres a half set seed category for this, where you do one run and then you unlock seeded runs, doing a seeded run to get the rest of the journal entries
Normally you have to unlock liz by going to the jungle, so in AJE you wouldn't start with her unlocked. Since hec wants to play with liz regardless, he modded Ana to have the sprites of Liz

You could have possibly saved a little time by telefragging Tiamat in the first run, but fair play that was a brilliant Speedrun to watch.

He needed low enough hp to die from one bomb in order to save the jet pack through the ankh

Needed to get to 10 go or less to keep his jetpack after death by bomb.
This is how u make optimised pathing for a rogue like. This category and run is insane.

it's on the same side as the hole that comes out of the wall, so it's simply a matter of quickly guessing where the entrance is
