Yeah the only thing I like about the Stylo 6 is that it has 1080P and the pen. I have the a21 S which has a 4 gig ram which means a stronger processor

I'm going for the LG for 2 reasons. I like the camera in the middle and the extra internal storage.
I bought the LG yesterday for $125 from boost mobile. I could've gotten it for free if I was willing to switch my phone number to a new number. So far I like it, but for some reason, the battery life doesn't seem as good as my stylo 4
I want the camera of the A21 mixed with the 64gb storage of the Stylo....

I'm a leaning towards the stylo 6 myself because the water drop lense actually appeals to me more than the hole punch. The hole punch bugs me just floating there. 🤣 Plus I have always had good experience with LG phones in the past.

I hate my Stylo 4 it always freezes. I am hoping the Stylo 6 is better but I'm sure it's still slow as can be.
@BEASTMODE 2020 I've considered the 6 but from what I've heard is that it is still slow as the 4. I like the stylus and I like LG. I sign a lot of e-docs so the stylus feature is great for my type of work.

Metropcs is offering both phones for free when you switch to them. The stylo 6 seems better cause is has 1080p unlike the A21

Had the Stylo 3 and 4... in the store, the Stylo 6 lagged and the display didn't seem very bright/vivid. The A21, which I bought, has a great display, terrific sound and the camera is way better than the Stylo 6. I already had a 128GB SD card Very, so that wasn't an issue for me. Very happy w/my Samsung.

Sadly, you almost never talk about or let us hear speaker quality/volume with your reviews.
Well it's hard to define audio verbally IMO you just have to hear things yourself to understand all the different nuances. Also, playing audio from a phone speaker recorded by a camera and then uploading it to RUclips and then streaming it out your speakers is not a fair way to show anyone the true difference in sound quality. Yes you may notice obvious and horrible things like when a phone speaker is tinny or something but I think for two phones in such a similar ballpark and build it would be almost impossible to notice major differences in audio through a video on RUclips. I do agree even just showing a test and giving his opinion on the speaker quality between two phones would be nice and probably should be a segment if your tech channel is based on full breakdowns and head to head battles between phones.

For everyone considering phones like this it would make far more sense for you to just go to eBay and get something like the LG v40. It would cost about 150 to 200 dollars at this point and has specs that can pretty much almost compete with even today's top devices. so getting these budget devices for or even 150 makes no sense when you can get what was Flagship devices just a couple of years ago for the same price nearly. And those phones outperform this phone tenfold. cameras... storage... display.... everything.
V40 Specs are Snapdragon 845, 12MP camera that records 2k 60fps, 6GB RAM, 64GB internal with expandable, OLED display, super small bezels and it is currently going on eBay for about 145 from many trustworthy sources that even I purchase from. for god sakes. the LG v60 has ALL current specs such as 4k60fps, 128GB storage, snapdragon 865 etc and is only 400 bucks on eBay. You folks need to shop WAY smarter than this.

How about call and sound quality and volume? A lot of reviews overlook these details (including this one). It is a telephone, after all, and those are features that vary in quality from phone to phone.
Its so hard to tell. Especially with these pre-paid carriers and their budget phones. I've had my Stylo 6 audio cut out during calls. But my spare phone (the moto g fast), does the same thing. Hard to tell if it's a carrier issue, phone issue, or simply a connection issue.
That depends on your carrier and coverage.
I gamed on the galaxy a20 it handled high demanding games just fine upgraded to the Stylo 6 it struggles occasionally giving me delay.

I also Love the camera and the size of the phone
You can increase the loading speed on Stylo 6 just like Stylo 5 in developers options.. just unlock it first hitting build 10times. Can make it load fast as A21
I did that to my Galaxy S10, love it that it is even faster.
The Stylo 6 has dual speakers. 64GB of internal storage, 1080p display, and a stylus plus the larger screen? I honestly don't know why you would choose the A21 unless you're just a Samsung avid fan. If i had to choose between these 2 phones, I would definitely go for the Stylo 6! Having said that, I have an iPhone 11 which scored close to 500k on Antutu benchmark test. Having a 150k score or less between these 2 phones makes me chuckle a bit....Even my old iPhone 8 plus had close to 300k....but i do understand these are $250 phones....still a great review...thanks!

I still have my dinosaur Stylus 2!!! I'm thinking of upgrading to a Samsung. My phone is like obsolete. The tech at the metro pcs store was like wow, these apps are slow and ancient. They don't even sell screen protectors anymore. Time for an upgrade.

Is it slow?
A21 is faster because it haves a lower resolution screen I think...(and probably faster storage chip, I think software optimization is good on both).
Suggestion: add Geekbench 5 for CPU-only processor and androbench for storage, this will make your reviews much more scientific without much more time involved. Also I think everyone would like to see some photos taken with the phones...
Also A21 Ram is ddr4 and stylo ram is ddr3

These phones are very similar in specs, performance & overall size. Considering they both sell for practically the same price, makes sense to go with the Stylo. The extra 32 gb of storage is really nice. However, I don't use the pen much but it's nice to know it's there when needed.
The battery is damn good. I can have ot fully charged at 6am when i get my kids up for school and around 8pm im still at around 15% even watching videos or playing games most of the day on my phone.

There good phones but there is more out there. Its a slick ver: of the ZTE new ones.
Boost has this but they only work on the new network sim cards so they need to hurry and get the new network out faster then later because this is screwing people over. But the LG is only 129 and the A21 is 199 and you get more for less costs so that is aways a great deal as long as it dose not freez as you see with many cheap phones. I hate how they say performance works great then they have bad performance i hate that lol.

I had both. I keep going back and forth for a couple weeks lol. There both decent phones. Even though the style 6 has dual speakers i think the A21 is a little more louder. And the pics aren't really different, just a little bit better on the A21 but not huge.. sometimes with the Stylo 6 it seems to get just a little laggy but I think that's because it's running on a higher resolution or something than the a21 that's why the a21 seems to run just a little bit different there's not a huge difference between the two that's my opinion I think it's more of your preference are you a Samsung lover or an LG lover.

I'm so confused now, the reviews on the Stylo 6 on the TMobile website are so bad, talking about how the phone sucks, then I watch this video and I want it lol.
Usually those reviews are from phone junkies who look at every tiny little detail.
Go with Moto Stylo G....it's way better
LG style 6 is NOT good in my opinion. 3 reasons. 1 I love gaming and The LG is really Slow max graphics on games is Low and even with the graphics low it still LAGS the cameras are bad too All blurry. I rather get the A21
FYI: He forgot to mention that even though both Phones Offer Expandable Memory, The A21 only expands to 512GB. But the LG Stylos6 can Expand UP to 2 Terabytes. Not sure why anyone would need 2T, but that's 4X more compared to the A21.

Luis Osorio Messi get the style 6 I own an a20 not a21 but the stylo 6 has a pen and it run stock android looks and it is also a lot bigger but the screen is dimmer than the a21 and it is ips not super amoled

I once had a samsung a few months back. Lasted less than a year. Just got the stylo 6 and hopes it lasts way longer. Im 13.
Right now both phones are the same price on Boost Mobile. I'm really having a hard time deciding. I like the way the Stylo 6 looks. However with the A21 I would be able to link it with my Galaxy tablet and use it to send text or calls.

(1)Over 30 gb it freezes and slows down
(2) cant text and do things in the SUN

Ive owned both of these and as much as I am a samsung man, the stylo kills the a21. The tradeoff is the software is newer on the a21 but android 10 is perfectly fine on the stylo. The simple stylus works 💪 really well! 😮
A20 was trash compared to stylo 5 so I picked the 6 over the 21 in a heartbeat. So far my 6 is great

Both these phones seem a little disappointing. Both screens are dark which is a no go for me as I use outside a lot. I have been a fan of the stylo line since the beginning, but the stylo 4 and 5 seemed to suffer from random lag spikes which make me batty (the 2 and 3 did not have that issue for me). Any thoughts on models you like that are $300, have NFC for google pay, and have a 6' screen?

I have this stylo 6 it's okay but sometimes i can't hear the communication in some areas is not good switching to the A21 i could have got that one but the guy in the store did not. Show me that one until i paid for the phone because he felt like i didn't want to pay the price which was on $40 more

OK so I'm looking in this video because my mom is like she can't buy me an iPhone because it's expensive and she spended her money on bills in her car bulls too etc and now she said I can pick a phone that isnt that expensive so I'm looking metro by T Mobil because she said to go on that carrier and I came across the LG stylo 6 and the Galaxy 821 and I like them both so now I'm just seeing the reviews and see which ones better so someone tell me which is better.

Confused after reading reviews on metro they are both free and i want to switch back to metro after going to boost mobile and having a ton of issues, in my area. I want to go back i have samsung and my Daughter has an lg (which i used to love) and we don't have many phone related issues. these are both newer phones then ours but the reviews are making me nervous of which one to get. I guess i could anyways switch back if there are issues or wait for upgrade. feel like companies have given up, maybe to make more money, who knows. Hmmmmm what to do? Maybe ill get one of each (one for each of us) and return with the reviews.

Apparently though they have not addressed it yet myself and some other A21 owners are having a problem with the top menu "acting up" where it will show as if you are trying to bring it down on the screen. From what ive gathered as well as what happened to me it starts off slowly but gets worse over time. I upgraded from the stylo 4 and the top menu problem, and i forget the name but the A21 doesnt allow you to filter the blue light on your screen, and im not a fan of the corner camera.. but other than that i do not miss the stylo.
I'm getting a21 because it's good downside is the color isn't that cool for a21

Does the lg actually run 1080 on apps i have hdx movies on my movies anywhere and my vudu and both my budget lgs and couple other budgets with 1080p displays couldnt run its highest res.
