- This car is a 1992 Honda Civic that I have rebuilt and gave a new and improved life.
92 EG Civic Hatchback
Integra GSR B18c1 motor
Gsr crank
Manley H beam rods

Moroso oil pan

B16 trans with lsd

Custom built ss turbo manifold

2.5” custom intercooler piping
3”mishimoto intercooler
Mishimoto radiator with slim fan
3” ss Mandrel bent exhaust from turbo back
K tuned turn down muffler
Bc racing coil overs

carbon fiber hood, fenders, trunk, wing
Car was painted by us in our shop
Car was dyno tuned with a smaller gt3076 and made 350whp it now has a gt3582 and boost is turned up a little should be making close to 400whp

@@possibleproblem479 harbor freight welders are inexpensive, had mine for 8 years now. Grinders are also inexpensive. I do a lot with just those two things. It’s not for everyone though.

How was your total for around 300-400hp go?
I know this is 8 months later but me and my buddy are really interested in buying a civic to boost and push 400-600 hp out of. We are literally in their first stage and just need to buy a car fo you have any recomendable civics that wont break my bank @FLCivic

Took the easy way to make power. I built my d16z6 in the kitchen 4 years ago still running strong. 5431 precision turbo on 19 psi. Tuned at PFI Speed. Just built a fiberglass box that fits an 18 in sub takes up the whole back seat.
That’s awesome man! Would love for pfi to tune mine. Love watching Brent and Jamie on RUclips. This setup was pretty simple like you said but I like it. More room to grow with the b series platform

@@gavinmersman4209 my cousin has a tuned eg hatch with 600 to the wheels running 9.5@150mph on drag slicks meaning a 400hp civic on street tires will likely not break into 10s. More like 11.2 or something like that
@@3shottzz the difference between a 9.5 and a 10.5 is about 250whp. awd 400whp civics run mid 10s all day

Wow after having a welding friend you really start to see what welds are good and bad, lmao wow it’s crazy that big manufacturers have kinda bad welds (not just them but people that aren’t professionals have kinda an excuse Kinda)...it’s a blessing and a curse of having a welding friend lmao. Never 2 old been wrench since I was a kid learn new things all the time I got tired of working on my buddy cars all the time so about 10 years ago told him time for you to learn he now building some sweet cars and making a killing on the day to day

I’d just recommend you to make shots a little slower, it’s kinda hard to keep focus on everything while you are moving the camera, it’s too shaky.

Depending on budget. The next one might be a k swap, a lot of people running 400-500 on stock k’s with a turbo kit.

Hey man if you don’t mind me asking do you have any head work done to the motor? And what compression are the pistons? I have very similar build CSS BLOCK with 9.7:1 wiseco pistons/Manley h-beam rods with GSR HEAD full ferrea/ Brian crower valvetrain with stock gsr cams and a 3076r looking to make 500 more with a bigger turbo hopefully
You should make 500 easily with that set up
