The 의 is the thing that confuses me a lot, I can't seem to figure out how should I pronounce it but thanks to this in-depth explanation I can now read hangul without tripping upon stumbling and getting stuck into this vowel.

1) It's actually 까짜 but it sounds like a Korean word 가짜 which means 'fake'.
That's why, not to offend girls with the name, Koreans write it as 까챠 (kka chya).
Or, the best way is just to say 카테리나 (Katerina).

4) 세르게이 (it also sounds a bit weird in Korean, 쓰레기 is 'trash')

First important rule,
In the Korean language, one syllable must have at least 2 letters.
2nd rule. If a syllable starts with a vowel sound, you need to add the letter 'ㅇ' before the vowel.
In foreign words for 'e' you can use 'ㅔ', for 'F' use 'ㅍ'

Gabriel = 가브리엘

I think the first 3 names are correct.
For Sylwia, 실비아 might be better.
The reason why you need to use 'ㅡ' is because if you don't and write Marcel as 말셀, the name would sound as 'Malcel' because when ㄹ is followed by a consonant, it is read as 'L' not 'R'. So, to achieve this R sound we need a vowel to help us to make R sound. So, usually this vowel is 'ㅡ'.
When ㄹ is placed between two vowels, it is read as R.

It's not silly : ) There are hundreds of foreign students in Korea who study for free. And you don't need to be a genius for that. But since you mentioned medical field, I decided to reply so that you don't potentially waste your time.
I don't know exactly what you want to learn, but as far as I know, as a foreigner, you are not allowed to learn medicine in Korea, like cannot get physician degree in Korea.
You can learn Nursing for sure. Also, something like Biology. But cannot become, let's say, a surgeon, dentist, and so on.
So, I would recommend you
1. Search on Google, top 10 Korean universities.
2. Contact a few of them and ask, if you can learn there what you want to learn. Usually they reply really fast. Within a few hours to one-two days.
2.1 Go to English version of their website -> Admissions -> next section varies from university to university, but search for something like Undergraduate (which is Bachelors Degree) or Graduate (which is Master's Degree) -> Application (here you will find their email address)
3. If they say you can apply, next check Scholarships section on their website. And feel free to ask them as many questions as you have, sending multiple emails. Don't feel shy. It's their job and they are happy to answer and to see that someone is interested in their university.
4. Study hard and prepare yourself for that Scholarship. It may take 2-3 years of hard work but it's possible.
Also, if these universities don't cover 100% expenses, check out this scholarships: KGSP (Korean Government Scholarship Program), Samsung Dream Scholarship Foundation, POSCO Scholarship.
KGSP is run every year. They pick 2-3 students from each country every year. You should apply through Korean Embassy in your country. They cover every expenses (tuition fee + give monthly allowance which is more than enough for food, books, dormitory, clothes + two way ticket to Korea and back to your home once you complete your studies)
The easiest way though is to be accepted by a University first, and then ask them to recommend you for KGSP.
Application for KGSP is free. You only need to spend some money for your documents translation into English, some apostille and notary fees.
Application directly to universities will cost you around $100 + documents shipping fee. Never ever send your original diploma, even though on their website they state that you must send original document. They will not return it. Send only notarized and apostille copy of your school certificates / diplomas.

Samsung Dream Scholarship Foundation usually start sponsoring only from the second semester. But somehow some students get it even before their first semester. I don't know how they do it though.

POSCO is difficult to get and it's for Masters degree mainly.
----------
If.... if... Korean universities will reply that as a foreigner you cannot study what you want to study, you can pick other country. For Medical field, probably Germany is a good option. But you need to learn German language. Check DAAD Scholarship.
Also, do some research about Stanford University, Harvard. It's very difficult to get into such universities but if you are lucky to get in, they will give you 100% scholarship. You won't pay for tuition fee at all. Usually people from developing countries study for free in Stanford and Harvard.
Maybe you can also consider China... China also provides Government scholarships.
Singapore is also good in medicine, but I don't think they provide any scholarships. I may be wrong though.
Probably Japan has some options. Chose only those universities where they teach 100% in English.
Maybe Russia too. It's also 100% free. They have government scholarships.

So, there is no rules that would tell you where you need to write ㅍ,ㅂ/ ㄱ,ㅋ/ㄷ,ㅌ.
You just need to memorize in which word you use, say, ㅍ and in whice you use ㅂ. Just like in English, Cat and Key (C, K)
Didi when ㅅ is added with double vowels then how to sound it?? I mean that ㅅ will produce sound of s or sh or ss when added with double vowels ??
Oh, in most cases it is pronounced as 's'.
In very rare cases it is pronounced as 'sh', for example, with the double vowel ' ㅟ '.

Aja ~ Los verbos en coreano no se conjugan como en el español y la mayoría de los idiomas europeos (por ejemplo, hablo, hablas, hablamos ... etc.)
Los coreanos usan la misma forma verbal para todos los pronombres. (저는 말해요, 당신은 말해요, 우리는 말해요 ... etc.)
En cambio, en el idioma coreano hay muchas partículas que dan significado a los verbos. Muchos idiomas asiáticos son así. Por ejemplo, en coreano no hay palabra "cuando...". Usan una partícula (ㄹ 때) que le da a un verbo un significado como 'cuando'. Por ejemplo, un verbo 'hablar' (말하다). The reason I used additional letter 'ㅡ' is because, when ㄹ is the last letter in a syllable it produces L sound.

So, one unique thing about Korean words is that they are made up of syllables. And a syllable must contain at least 2 letters, where one is a vowel.
Your answers are almost correct which is good :)
Look how I would write the names above:
1. Lorna: 로르나 (I had to add a vowel 'ㅡ' to the consonant 'ㄹ' to make a syllable.)
You may wonder why 'ㅡ' but not any other vowel. Just that's the rule. Take a look at more examples below to understand it well.
2. Grace: 그레이스 (I added 'ㅡ' to 'ㄱ'(G) and to 'ㅅ'(C)
3. Pedro: 페드로 (again, added 'ㅡ' to 'ㄷ' to make a syllable')
4. Glen: 글렌 (here I added 'ㅡ' to 'ㄱ'(G) and also I had to use double 'ㄹ' to get a sound 'L')
5. Aldrin: 알드린 (you may wonder, why I did not use double 'ㄹ' here. There is a rule, you will learn them in the lesson #5: when 'ㄹ' is placed between vowels it is pronounced as 'R'. So, if I did not put additional 'ㄹ' to 글렌, the name would have sounds as Gren.
But here, 'Aldrin', ㄹ is followed by a consonant. So, I did not need to use additional 'ㄹ' to get 'L' sound. It sounds complicated and just don't even bother to learn it right now. Just watch the lesson #5.
6. Alaia: 알라이아 (again, 'ㄹ' is between 'A' and 'a', so I had to use double 'ㄹ' to get 'L' sound)
7. Gabriel: 가브리엘 (added 'ㅡ' to 'ㅂ')
8. Joy: 조이
9. Sofia: 소피아 (in most cases, in foreign words Koreans use ㅗ instead of ㅓ. Also, add 'ㅇ' to a vowel when a syllable consists just with one letter (vowel).
Here, we can split the word into 3 syllables:
'So Fi A'
소 피 아
I know, you must be very confused and maybe already thinking about to give up learning Korean ))
But look, you need to know these rules only if you want to write foreign names using Korean alphabet :)
The purpose of this homework is to teach you to the right way of combining consonants with horisontal / vertical vowels that you did great, without mistakes. Just keep watching next lessons and you will eventually learn how to write, speak and make sentences in Korean.

Because these knowledge is necessary only if you want to write English words using Korean letters. In most cases these are human names.
The reason why Koreans use 'J' for 'Z' sound is because in the Korean language 'Z' sound does not exist.
So for Korean ears, letter ㅈ is the closest for the English letter Z.

There are a few 'mistakes' in your examples. But these are not actually mistakes. Since these words are foreign words and can be pronounced differently in different countries due to different English accent, there is no exact rule how to write the in Korean.
But yeah, Koreans agreed to write Potter as 포터.
What I can say from your examples is that you clearly know what is the difference between similar letters, for example, ㄷ, ㄸ, ㅌ which a good progress^^

How would i write "Essi"? 에씨 would be Esshi and 엣시 would be Etsi, right? So how do i write Essi?Also, how do i write"Roosa" the best i could think of is 로사 but thats Rosa....🥲
