Copy that !! The manual could definitely be better ...... so far im liking it.... added a MIDI Commander to control the effects blocks and Tuner ... dont give up yet !!!

I already sent mine back. I've moved on. I did not see any mention of moving the blocks in the manual. I wonder if my version was an early version that didn't have that info. Knowing that kind of changes my point of view about the pedal. I thought it sounded good. The drums are a little flat compared to the circle looper.. that and the loop count in and sync function with the drums. But had I been able to swap the effects, I probably would have kept it. I also wasn't messing around with the app because of the location comparability. So, maybe I just got a bum unit. I may give it another go sometime. Thanks for your thoughts. If you want to send some pics of you rocking out to be featured at the credit scroll of these videos, send them to jam@undergroundguitarparty.com. Cheers.

I see that people have already told you that your first complaint is completely wrong. That you can indeed move effects in the chain. And I also see where you pinned that to the top. But that's not enough. You should actually remove this video. Many people aren't going to read the comments at all. They're going to watch the first 5 minutes and bail on a product that could be good for them, based on incorrect information from you. I've had my pedal for over a year now and I love it. Use it for gigging and for recording.

Last time I checked, I didn't hire you as an advisor. Go make your own video. Like you said, who will actually read your comment anyway. Just me, right? It sucks. I don't like it, and I made a video about it. Deal with it.

@@UndergroundGuitarParty I could care less how you feel about it. Your video has false information and is incorrect. Deal with it. I like how your answer to me and others is "go make your own video". What you should do is realize that when you put out stuff that's factually wrong, you'll get called out. I'm calling you out on putting up false information and whining about a product you didn't know how to use. Deal with it. But you won't. You should make a real correction or remove the video. Your video has false information. That's not opinion. It's fact. You obviously think your opinion matters or you wouldn't make a video in the first place. Your willingness to let false info slide and to half-ass address it with "yeah I'll pin the comment" tells me all I need to know about your channel. I'll go watch someone who actually knows how to use the product they're reviewing...and who's mature enough to own a mistake. Have a great day!

Cry about it as you leave. From the looks of your profile picture, you have more to worry about than my video.. but that's probably your problem in life- you know what's best for everyone, right? Instead of putting down the pudding? Yeah.

You go make your own video. I hate the Arena 2000 and you can make me change my opinion or thoughts. Stupid child mind. "do what I say because I say so".. moron.

Good Review. I have heard a lot of positive comments about this D-Arena 2000.
Hope donner adds that lacking element in their firmware upgrade.

I don't like the pedal for my purpose, but many people like inexpensive gear, and I see the need for this kind of thing in the marker. Some of my complaints turned out to be more of user experience issues, which made it frustraiting for me to use. You can now change the location of the effects in the chain. Either a firmweare update came out after I reviewed the unit, or the interface was frustraiting and not intuitive at my time of review. Even considering that, the noise gate, and lack of synced drum/loop time makes it no good for me. My biggest gripe with the loop and drums is that Donner made such a great Circle Looper pedal. I was expecting that similar function would be built into the Arena. Here is to hoping thtat they continue to improve it through firmware updates.

I love mine. The majority of the presets are pretty much unusable but this less expensive unit you need to spend the time to adjust and tweek settings until you get what you want. It would take longer, but I bet you can get the same sounds out of this as most any other more expensive unit, you just have to put the work in to get it.

Can the expression pedal do double functions when you press with your foot? I mean can you have it be a volume pedal, then press down and activate it to then be a wah wah pedal? Or does it only do one function at a time, and you have to go into the menu to change to the other function?

  • @smiley50ish

Agree about the looper on the arena but the pedal is ok for me level.
I have both units the circle looper is much better as a looper being 4 mins long. also i use the circle looper for dubbing over backings tracks for the course i am on probably my most used pedal .
would be great if this was on arena as well.
I find the arena pedal great fun and mine allows me to move things around .

    • @UndergroundGuitarParty
      @UndergroundGuitarParty  Год назад +1

Thanks for your comment. I couldn't move things on mine. People have told me that I'm wrong, but I think it was a firmware update issue. Remember, in the video I did not do a firmware update because the app was in Chinese and I couldn't read it. Also, it required location to be turned onb for the update, and I wasn't doing that. I'm glad to hear yours works well.

I had an HX stomp. 700 bucks and no volume pedal. For the price this gets it done. I think your expectations were to high for this pedal.
