Chad always brings it, and with John back in the fold...man watch out, because history is on this band’s side when these main 4 core of guys create stuff together. It’ll be beyond awesome and I just want the new 2021 album to have its own identity.

Red Hot Chili Peppers is under appreciated i think because they are a pop rock band. Everyone in the band is absolutely amazing at their drums. John is easily a top ten alive guitar players, maybe the best guitar player alive. Flea is one of the best bass players. Chad is an underrated drummer by far with his ability to find the best beat possible and how he can easily speed up or change up the mood of a song. And Anthony is one of the coolest personalities in rock. No he doesnt have the best voice but he is great frontman and writer.

beemccouch Absolutely agree. Chad is completely underrated as a drummer. There’s a cool GoPro video of him playing on youtube and you can really see first hand how good he is.
Most musicians you can tell, as good as they might be, they’re just playing an instrument but certain musicians you can tell the instrument is an extension of themselves.
Hendrix, Nowell, Van Halen, are some of the best examples but to me it seems every member of RHCP has this connection to their instrument. I think thats why, no matter how many guitarist they change, Anthony, Chad, Flea and John have a unique connection and sound that makes them, and only them, the RHCP.

I love josh and am grateful for the different yet rich incredible music he was able to create with the chili peppers but I'm so glad I'll be able to witness (as a fan) these 4 amazing artists create music. Massive fan of John and his confident and expressive melodic guitar playing, I'm just really glad this amazing band still continues to make music
Seriously, putting aside money issues, and all the BS and temptations you probably have to deal with, wouldn’t it be the best thing (after health and family), to be in a band with guys like this, making great music, and experiencing this kind of joy and friendship. I mean when is the last time I laughed like this? It’s been a while.

I remember seeing Chad Smith in a band called Toby Red ..........Circa early eighties, around the Detroit area. At venues like New york, New york and the Ritz. If I am not mistaken.
You guys have made me realize so much I play your CD in the car I play your RUclips channel on the big screen on my television. It makes me feel close to my son, who passed away at the age of 34 from a fentanyl overdose in Los Angeles in 2018 three days after Christmas, God bless you guys my son love you so much and I have to admit I totally understand why . 🤗
