@@dreamzzscalemodelling hey I used the directions with the dunkel gelb and the green dots. Unfortunately I made the dots bigger than I should have. I’d post a pic if I knew how. 😂
Amazing! I just started this kit myself last night. A few thoughts: Rolled armor steel plates really don't have any kind of raised texture at all. It has imperfections, but it looks like like pits or tiny holes/divots spread randomly across the surface. This can be achieved by a Dremel or rotary type tool and a small burr/bit. Put on slow speed and allow the bit to bounce randomly across the surface. Practice on the bottom of the model first. Next, the makeshift wood slats on the back might be difficult for a crew to do in the field. Some of the areas you have attached to are armor plate and drilling into or putting screws through in the field would be next to impossible. Last, you might want to use more silver/graphite on the tracks. Active tank tracks don't stay looking quite so brown and rusted. Please do not I am trying to "hate" on your work. I'm actually inspired by several things you've demonstrated, so thank you!
Thanks for the feedback! I can completly agree with your points. I saw the armor texture on some other kits but it turned out way to strong in the end. But there are enough other kits waiting to be build better next time. For the tracks im still trying to find the "right" way and colors to paint them, but they have to be less rusty next time thats for sure. I really appreciate this kind of feeback because we can all learn from each other so thank you very much :)
Great job! I learned several techniques and got answers to several questions I had. Thank You! 👍
Glad it was helpful! If you have any other questions feel free to ask them
Cool weathering.
Thanks!
Nice job! I just finished the same Tamiya Marder II a week ago. Your weathering was definitely a step up and I like the chipping.
Thanks! Did you paint it according to the instructions or choose your own variant?

I wish you a lot of fun! Which version are you building?
@@dreamzzscalemodelling a operation ochsenkopf tiger 1. It's a dragon smart kit as well
Also, while a think about it, I think having it behind a grass bank covered in trees and blended from a front angle would look awesome.
I like the idea. Making it almost invisible from the front but open to look at from the back

Is tamiya airbrush cleaner good for cleaning ak real colour
Sorry but I never used my AK Real Colors with anything other then their own thinner for cleaning so I cant tell you if it works well or not
