- Are we done, were turning back
We are turning around and heading back to New South Wales. After more issues and breaks with the caravan we have decided not to proceed further into outback Queensland. We do however find one of the cheapest and nicest outback caravan parks we have come across yet and it's in Dirranbandi. I also cook a nice piece of beef in the Ziggy along with a few beers of course.

We decided to go back south rather than north for a few reasons.Hopefully will have new windows late November. Still continuing heading back to Perth
12:18 minute mark is where we were parked earlier this year, on the way north. Was the only spot left, because it had been very wet, otherwise would have camped out at the river. Some greats spots out and around that area. We came in to "Dirran" from the north last year. Was a lot drier the previous year. At the 9:48 minute mark, you will see the sign on the wall of the camp kitchen,
Les Norton bar. Have you heard of or know about the books and "books on CD's" by Robert G Barrett ? If you like a good aussie yarn, you'll love these , and they are great for when you're travelling. Funny as. As an ex truck driver like yourself, you know about the long hours on the road.
In one of your other videos you mentioned about replacing the jockey wheel. Did you get a new one, think you were considering a "BOS". They are good. You wont be disappointed. I could waffle on here for ages, maybe we should have a yarn sometime.

$200k for the caravan and 4WD. That buys a lifetime of overseas holidays, not this. I live on the NSW Mid Coast and there are 147 caravans for sale in two huge lots near Forster.
Now I know where to go buy a cheap caravan 😂, going overseas for holidays is not everyone’s thing, nor is caravanning there are so many ways for people to holiday , it’s an individual choice 😊

Let me say not impressed with so many of the Chinese 🇨🇳 built vans - lots of niggling little things that fail. Mr Buckaroonie had his Jawa for 5 months before selling as it was such poor quality .. good luck buddy!
@@tonyf7997 12000kms now in 5 months with some hard off roading , it done pretty good. The funny thing is I've seen a lot of $150,000 + broken vans on back of trucks lately .luck of the draw I guess
Hey, just joined with a question, are the windows Dometic? we have a top of Jayco range and we are about to change the driver side windows for the third time, very little help from Domestic but reasonable help from our suppliers from new
@ - Jayco are the Woolworths of brands - best dealer for them is in Tingalpa Brisbane but what I hear is service wait times are silly!

These are branded as Geson and I believe a lot of manufacturers use them. No issues with replacement just waiting for them to arrive under warranty to be replaced at my next service in a few weeks.
Nothing like the old vans .
