#GHOSTIN the best way to get a Harley-Davidson is used or wrecked in 2016 I bought a 2013 classic that hit a deer the bike had 1900 miles and front end damage. I played $6,000 for it from the Insurance Company. I put in $3,000 to get it on road. I have a bike that would have costed me $20,000 for $9,000
I kept saving up and finally pulled the trigger on my first bike, a Harley Nightster. I’ve wanted a Harley sense a kid so I just wanted to come back and leave a thank you because you helped to reassure me to still choose to go with a Harley like I dreamt of. You inspire many who didn’t have the greatest upbringing and you’re proving that anyone can carve their own road in this crazy life. You’re appreciated, Sose. Remember that. Much love from TN.
Saw about fifty Bandidos roar by on 60s/70s style choppers and fell in love with that aesthetic. Definitely not the most comfortable or nimble of motorcycles the chopper is, in my opinion the ultimate expression of uniqueness, especially if you build your own!
I’ve owned harleys and loved them, but you’re exactly right. Everything HD is expensive. Building a Honda shadow now and have the 16” apes, custom seats, grips, etc and barely have $2k in it. And honestly I’m as happy with it as any Harley I’ve ever had, don’t sound the same and a little less power than my old dyna. But the cost difference alone makes the Honda an easy favorite daily. Just my opinion
My step dad rode a Harley and when I was 9 it was the first time I was up close to a Harley. He had a 79 Wide Glide with a shovel head engine and chrome fish tail exhaust. Loved hearing it start up and take off. He had some friends who where Banditos and other friends who weren’t but rode Harley’s. It was awesome hearing that rumble of Harley’s pulling up to the house and leaving. Especially when there was at least three or four. Been in love with Harley’s ever since. That’s no lie about what you pay for a Harley and customizing it. In 2019 I finally started getting my VA disability and when I got my back pay an 02 Wide Glide with 20k miles on it fell in my lap. It already had shorty pipes, screaming eagle heads, 26” front wheel, and it was murdered out. However, the dude cheated with the murdered out look by just rattle can spray painting black over the chrome. Lol. Like you said, “one part at a time.” and my plane is when it’s time to replace the seals I’ll strip it down and paint it right.
I agree. My first bike was a yamaha raider 1900. Loved that bike but customizing it was like pulling teeth. You want exhaust you got like 5 to choose from and they're all top dollar. With a HD you want exhaust you got 500 to choose from. I'd also add a big bonus to HD is the dealership network. If you're on a trip and need some help there's always a dealership nearby that will give you a hand.
yeeeeess. love my vtx 1800, but jealous of harley because theyre the glock of the bike world. everybody...EVERYBODY makes parts n upgrades for them. and its not just their newer bikes. easy to find brand new aftermarket parts for 80s n 90s harleys too
I’ll ad that when I got the chopper bug I was ten years old, back in 1977 and the old school way of homegrown, build your bike was still alive and well.
My very first bike is my current 22 Road Glide Special… took it for a test ride the 1st day after my class, fell in love and bought it that day! I’ve had it a few months now and piecing mine together to make it MINE! I’m a small guy but i knew i wanted a RG. I can handle it at 5’8” no problem
My dad was always buying Harley and then tearing the engine down and making them more powerful. I loved it growing up. My first bike was a gsxr 600 to learn on. Dropped it a few times then right to road king. Flhx now and love it
I have owned my 07 softail for a month and have rode her a couple times. First bike I have rode was a triumph Bonne and it was a change for sure...next to having an 8yr gap from riding but the second I rode Valkyrie(that's her name) it was smooth and stable. She is heavy but not too heavy and comfortable. All in all you said it best. Sit on it and take it for a spin. Feel it out before you buy.
I run thousands of miles a year on my Harley cold rain snow wind don't matter and that's why the last couple of years I've preferred the road glide now that I'm getting older rear suspension and a fairing makes the ride a little more comfy
I'm 28 dont own any cages and put on a lott of miles year round as well. In WA state, honestly I already appreciate the creature comforts. Thinking bout a fairing soon myself... was so cold one morning I got brain freeze from the wind haha. Would be nice to have it somewhat redirected...or I could worn a full face I suppose haha
My first bike was a 2006 dyna low rider. Great bike. Traded it for my current 2011 ultra limited. Almost 100k miles on it now. And sose, there's not much different between the Indians and victory. The engines were originally designed to replace the victory 107. Also, other than bodywork, the Indian scout and victory octane are the same bike.
Been riding with a club for a few years now, I started on a Victory. Just recently bought a Ultra Limited that already had most of the upgrades I would do myself. Tons of money that I didn't have to spend and I have the bike I want.
My uncle “Crazy” Joe always had and still has this old softail, I remember as a little kid sitting in that bike and watching him take off on it, that sealed it for me to get a Harley, I rode a lot of sport bikes until I bought my Dyna last year, been in love with it ever since
My first bike was a Kawasaki Vulcan 900 made into a bobber. Fun bike but I always wanted a Harley and when I retired from the Army, I got me 1.A 2017 Softail Breakout 110 CVO Pro-Street FXSE. only 1,250 of these bad boys ever made. I have it blacked out and it's a beast with some enormous torque and a mean rake to it. just my style. It's a black-red fade AKA Scorched Apple. I love that 240mm rear tire. Like you said. I am piecing it together a little bit at a time until it's right where I want it.I keep all the original parts should I ever sell it. the odds of that are slim to none. but you never know. I ride solo and keep to myself. I have had numerous clubs ask me to join but I haven't found a home yet. I am having a new rear fender light installed to replace the stock one. LED lights for the brake and when I am stopped. the regular Breakouts just have a reflector there. those LED lights are nice and every bit of extra lighting I can get I will because I have had way too many close calls with people coming up on me while stopped at a light. With the 2 R/L break lights and the bar lights under the fender I am lit up. Nothing like a Harley Thunder Bike American Muscle. I love your Channel and The way you keep everyone up on the 1%er life style and all the advice. your channel kicks serious A$$.
I ran a Victory Jackpot and loved it but there was no aftermarket. I went to a 2019 Street Glide Special but recently got rid of it because it had so much junk on it I felt like it was practically a car. Now I have an 08 Fat Bob that I’ve done a ton of work to.
The biggest reason i own multiple harleys (still own a honda and just sold my yamaha sport bike) is the parts support, its so easy to get any part you want factry or aftermarket they make everything for a harley.
I have a 99 Harley Sportster 1200XLH custom, and a 02 Harley Sportster 883. I grew up around Harleys. I fell in love with them at a young age. But I'm planning to add a Heritage Classic to my collection soon. You have a sick bike. And you just gave the best advice, buy it as close to how you want it. Cost me too much to get my 99 how I want it.
Good video. Only thing I'd say is that I would tend to disagree with you over the Harley-Davidson Sportster on seating. I'm nearly 6ft4 and ride a Harley-Davidson forty-eight and I find the seating position just fine with forward leg controls. In the middle of trying to make it more to my tastes too. Too many of the bigger Harley-Davidson bikes around the road's in Ireland. Sportster is something different and fits well with customisation. Given its 65 years of development. #ghostin
I’m with you man, I just picked up a 08 1200xl Nightster and I’m 6’1” and it’s perfect with forward controls and it came stock 80fpt and 90 something horsepower. I have mine at stage one and plan on a big bore kit and cams. I’ve seen them done similar to mine and they dyno 98 fpt and 105 horsepower and with them weighing 500 pounds instead of 900 they are monsters.
@@Elevenmillionmissingvoters I've already done a stage 1 kit on my 48. Love that old school bobber sound. Old Sportster before 2021 is one of the last true air cooled Harley-Davidson motorcycles as intended by Harley and the Davidson bros. Afterwards their great build quality and ride well. But unfortunately from the V-ROD onwards their just a water cooled designed porsche. Assembled from a kit in USA or Asia. Just not the same.
Yep,100 percent. I'm finding that out too. My previous bike was also a victory. 8 ball hammer.ilove the freedom 106. That engine was bad ass. I can always tell a freedom 106 from the sound of the engine when it starts that baby explodes almost. ✌
Great video. I love Harley Davidson bikes. I have dreamed all my life to have one. At my older age. and I'm 6ft5 .. I walked into the dealership knowing what I wanted and bought my dream bike. 2022 Reef blue Road Glide limited. and its loaded for a Harley. fun to ride and so comfortable. YOU are right never say never follow your dream even if it takes most your life to get it.
My pops had Harleys, I grew up in the Bay Area, seen many hells angles and other mc clubs . I’ve always loved Harleys ! Nothing beats that Harley sound and nothing compares in my book.
HD was the only bike I ever wanted. More specifically I have wanted a soft tail springer. 1st bike is my crossbones. I love it and will take it to Valhalla with me
First bike was a 2013 ASPT rigid bobber 113”. Currently building a 1977 Shovelhead custom. As far as what got me to start riding was watching the movie Hell Ride and just appreciating the builds and the bikes. What would be nice is a place so we can show off our builds and bikes.
#GHOSTIN my dob was 5/10/1951. Learned on a Ducati 90 when I was 14. I've graduated thru HD to the 2006 Big Dog Mastiff with a 1,916 cc engine. Man have I learned a lot about proper manners while cruising out great country while it last. God bless you and yours.
Just read that The Undertaker's favorite bike is his HD Breakout. I would say the 2 people that inspired me to ride, was Animal and Hawk of the Legion of Doom. Got goosebumps watching them ride out to the ring during big events.
First bike I had was a 03 Honda F4i, then 02 954rr, then 2011 CBR1000rr, 08 GSXR 1k, 2012 CBR1000rr, 2016 BMW S1000rr, 2013 GSXR750.....and FINALLY GOT A HARLEY! Love my new Street Bob w/ Apes and Stage 1!
My dad got me into Harleys. My first Harley was a 2004 Dyna Low Rider. Wish I had never got rid of it. The brand has been a huge part of my life since I worked for a dealership for years. You're spot on about customization. Harley is king there. Are there better motorcycles? Sure, but there's just something about a Harley. I have a 2018 Road King Special and a 1994 Heritage Softail now. My dad has a 2010 Heritage. I can roll with my club or with pops. Support 16's.
I learned on an 883 Iron and then bought a used Sportglide.. now ready to get rid of the 883 Love the Sportglide and Love a BMW 750GS I picked up two months ago.
First bike…1982 Yamaha Virago 920. I bought it in 1993 with 1200 miles on it!!! It was sitting in a guys barn all dusty. But when I wiped it, it was candy black cherry. I took it in and they replaced all the rotted rubber hoses and gaskets, etc…and it lasted me about 3 years and I sold it.
I love this bike. To me, it looks like a blacked out Chicano style beast lol. Sick built man. And what got me into Harley? It was Jesse James. I was a youngster when I first saw I’m riding a bobbed out chopped Harley. I been hooked since then! My first bike was a Honda and tried to make it look like that Jesse James bike lol no I’m building a sportster. Someday I’ll have a road king lol
Hey Big Dogg, it was brother that was 20 years older than me who I watched riding his 1980 Shovel Head tricked out with all his homies. Fast forward when I was in the Army on leave my brother took me to Sturgis and I was hooked. Bought a 2015 Road Glide Special I love my Hog! Love your content.
Wanted a bike since I was 5 years old. 50 years later, I finally have one. I'm a very independent person who doesn't need to blend in. Looked at all kinds and after reading, consulting with people/friends and watching great videos LIKE THIS ONE, I settled on an immaculate '07 dyna superglide as my 1st. Does the badge make them twice as expensive ? Yes, but harleys are just constructed better, to me, than their metric counterparts. I'm not giving up on ever having another brand, but this was the right choice as a 1st bike. PS. I know most ppl will start out on a smaller bike, but ever notice how many sportsers are for sale ? Because people upgrade right away. The joy didn't sink in till like my 5th time out. I almost cried, half the reason that I couldn't believe I was riding and the other half was that I should have done this YEARS ago. Thanks for the vid Sose
Got my first bike a few weeks ago, I’m 26. It’s a Harley dyna low rider 2009, I’m 6 ft. 2 so I wanted something bigger than sportster. So far loving it
Was late to the motorcycle seen, 35 years old got my license and a Honda vt750 cruiser, 10 years on still have it, suits my size and riding position, stay safe from Northern Ireland
My first bike was a 2016 Dyna Fat Bob. Got hit on it about a week after owning it. I'm a little bigger of a dude, and it never quite fit me completely. Now I have a Road King and lemme tell you, I think the Road King is a vastly overlooked bike. Big touring chassis and frame, comfortable for bigger dudes, but doesn't have all the extra weight those Road Glides and Street Glides have. Much respect and all love to you Sose.
First bike 1967 Yamaha 305 two stroke twin One year to first drive I was so happy after all that work I went home to tell my Mom My Mother and my little Sister both stood up off the couch and applauded me for my accomplishment, Well I walked the house and that's what they did.
Who inspired me Souse was a man named Gary Sleezer. He built the baddest Ironhead Sportsters. I love my Ironhead other than getting it fixed correctly. I support my local shops, but it got insane when it’s sat there for eight months. My clutch is still messed up. My first bike was a 85 Honda shadow, second bike 85 Ironhead Sportster
My first street bike was a 1974 tx500. Then a 85 Honda night hawk. I still have my 97 Honda magna along with 11 fatbob. I ride what I like.. I ratted out my TX.
I'd say if you're going to buy a Sportster, go ahead and get the 1200. I've seen tons of people buy the 883 and wind up putting the conversion kit on it soon after.
I got hooked on wanting a harley when I was 7 years old driving with my parents then heard this loud rumble windows were vibrating and a pack of 20 Harleys flew by me and was 81 MC since that day I was hooked! My first bike was a 2014 cleveland heist 250cc looked like an old hardtail harley peanut tank, was perfect starter bike was good round town but slow as hell on the Hwy would be full throttle just to do 110 km/hr after that got a job at harley Davidson then traded my bike in for a 2012 harley seventy-two sportster which still have then bought 2nd bike a 2003 harley heritage softail #ghostin
@@DemonsRow My pops was a president, I used to love seeing the hundreds of Harley's that would go past our house on their poker runs. Rumbling the neighborhood haha
Before getting my motorcycle license I was thinking of getting an Indian bike but everyone told me to go towards Harley Incase you want costume cause parts are easier to get. Both my bosses and 2 of my coworkers got Harley’s so I went with Harley and got me a 2016 dyna low rider from Yankee Harley as my first and I LOVE it !!!
💯 My Dad was in a Motorcycle Club and Captain America Chopper is my dream bike Easy Rider has done more to get people into Biking than any other TV or movie. So I agree with you 110%
yep, you are so right about customizing a harley. i spent over 2 grand getting my 14" ape hangers and then ended up spending it again to upgrade to 16" apes. apes are an expensive upgrade because of the cables and lines. i personally recommend saving your money and getting as much done as possible when you put it in the shop so they only have to tear it apart once. i too have a slim. its still in the shop. waiting on tires! been waiting since october! custom harleys "VICLAS". there's nothing like it. your bike is dope sose. i see your shows and your bike and i get all crazy thinking about how much i miss my bike. hopefully its out of the shop soon
I grew up with my older siblings that were in or dating 1%ers in 70's/80's. The dirty choppers those cats rode at 100+ mph was simply amazing especially on the tires and suspension of old....
XL883N first bike. I'm leaning Road King Special for second bike, thinking blacked out 114, gloss and flat black, Harley orange diamond stitch solo seat and orange accents throughout. Ghosted black and orange timeless HD vibe, there's something about a Harley that nothing else will do.
My father was a custom chopper guy. My first bike was a Yamaha vstar 1100. From there I went to a Victory Vision and still have that bike today. It has a stage 1 mapping on it and can definitely get out of its own way. I crashed my 2020 HD RG and it’s almost done being fixed (got brake checked on highway 12 in Cali). Great vid Sose #ghostin
I am 55, my first bike, and one of the best ones ever, was a Honda XR75, oh yeah! I got it when I was like 5yrs. A few years later, I painted an old trash can lid to look like Captain America's. I'd put that on my back and go out and ride like crazy in the hills and mountains near Boone NC. I kept that bike for a long time, like 10 years. I had other bikes, motocross racing 80, 100 and 125 bikes. But I loved that little XR, and rode it the most. It reminds me of how my Harleys ride, low down grunt. Maybe that's why I like Harleys so much.
You have a great point that you really should have emphasized more. USED bikes!! Craigslist, Facebook marketplace, nextdoor app, bulletin boards at gas stations, you name it, I'll glance it over. I regularly see some great HD low mile bikes with lots of custom parts and often a box of the factory parts that came off very reasonably priced. Someone with a bit of patience and a trailer could get a bike that's 50% of where you want to be custom wise for a 1/3 of the price of getting a stock bike and buying accessories new. HD really isn't my jam but I've actually been stunned by some of the deals on nicely customized bikes and been tempted. Plus if you're mechanically inclined there's even deeper deals plus I always find extra pride in reviving a dead bike and making it run like it should and look right!
I got a sportster for my first bike, I’m still riding it, still love it. I’m about ready to get something bigger but I definitely still want to keep my sportster around, that shits fun to ride 😂
Grew up riding on the back with my dad. Finally picked a bike up. 06 Softail duece. No intentions on the Mc life. Much respect though. Finally just happy to live a dream to ride along with my dad.
I have a sportster 2017 ironhead... This thing has too much noise coming from all over... If I could go back I would probably grab a cheap Suzuki gxsr have my fun n by end of summer get rid of it. I'm not giving up on Harley but when I bought it I let "price" dictate my options... If there's a next time I will definitely test ride and pick something that feels right instead of looking at the prices. Great video as always
I just bought my first Harley Davidson 883 Iron in Black Denim. It’s s the perfect size bike for my frame. I’m not new to bikes but new to Harley Davidson…. I’m never parting with this bike.
I was given a good deal on a Honda shadow to be my first bike but I've always wanted a heritage softail. Getting into clubs just helped me finally take that step and I love the heritage. Just not the money lol. I agree with just about everything you said though. My Honda shadow looked good and sounded better than my heritage because I still have stock pipes on the Harley lol
My first bike is a softail slim 103 2012, I have a 2022 heritage for the power. But I still have and love my slim. first and foremost❤️ my dad and uncles ride.. I loved riding with them , and bite the bullet bite I have my own (2) I’m hooked just did 1000 miles this weekend. I wanna ride with you❤️
First bike 2002 Black Fatboy like Terminator 2. Second was a 2010 Road King Merlot Sunglo and vivid black. 3rd was a 2013 anniversary Road King Vintage Bronze and vivid black. Just traded that one for same year Electra glide ultra limited vintage bronze and vivid black.
My first bike was a Suzuki marauder, then I moved up to a Honda VTX 1300.. sold it to get my cdl.. 15 years later I bought a used 2019 harley road glide.. absolutely love it. I put 14" KST custom apes on it by myself in the garage using all the stock cables saving myself a couple grand. I have 0 interest in clubs, what made me want a harley is the whole harley aesthetic and the fact that you can customize them relatively easier than all the other brands.. and that harley sound with a catless exhaust and high lift cam really does it too... #ghostin in Phoenix.
I grew up with Harley Davidson. I have pictures of me at 5 years old on dads pan head. He had several different Harley's all of my life. I'm 68 now and own 2 Harleys. My second bike was a Harley sportster right of the show room floor in 1977. Harleys are in my blood. I'll own a Harley until I die to pass it on to my son.
The only thing my dad said he had to leave me when I was Young was a house at some Harley's. At 6 I told him he didn't owe me anything or the house...... But ide definitely take care of his Bikes! 🤘
My first bike was is a 2019 Xl sportster 1200 I’m working on stacking up money to either get a new street bob or a 2022 low rider s but as you said I wanna sit on both bikes and maybe test ride them before I buy .
I started with a 96 Suzuki intruder vs800. now i have a 2000 road king classic and loving it. I have put so much money into it just to get it running. (guy i bought it from let it sit for 4 years without draining gas) New to the channel and to the life.. your vids have opened my eyes to alot of shit. thank you.
In about 1972 my dad and I watched the late late movie one Saturday night and it was hells angels 69 i was about 8 and went motorcycle crazy my dad got me a mini bike soon after and loved motorcycles ever since
Hey man, I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for all the info while being real. Your bike is sick. I love the bars. What are your thoughts on them? I was inspired to buy a Harley because my ex’s father, my daughters grandfather, was a Harley guy. When I started riding, I had to park my bike next to his Harley’s. When he passed away, I took his road king for a ride. It meant a lot to him and it meant a lot to me. Now I also have a road king. I couldn’t be happier.
Loved the video brother, I am 56 years old and have been behind bars for 51 years yes I have the picture to prove I was 5 years old when I first started riding a bike that my father built with an old Briggs & Stratton engine and a frame that he mocked up himself, I have owned damn near every make of iron horse I think that is out there and I will be honest only last year that I bought my first Harley and 01 road King classic and the only reason I bought it was it had less than 16k miles and less than $5,000.00, as far as people picking out the bike they want a lot of times HD dealerships will have demo rides, that is the best way to ride different type bikes to see which one fits you the best. Love the videos brother, keep it up 👍
As soon as I laid my eyes on a HD, at the age of 5 when my Dad took me with him to his mechanics shop, I knew that one day I would own one. That beautiful ElectraGlide in blue (yep, just like the movie) was like nothing else I'd ever seen. While my Dad was talking to the wrench, I just stood there, staring at that bike. Fast forward a quarter century, and I bought a beautiful '91 Heritage Softail in "Candy Sapphire Sunglo". Owned that bike for 15 years, riding it all over Australia, following the work I was doing at the time. Now I ride my second new Harley, an '06 Softail Standard (which ain't so "standard" anymore). I love that bike, but every now and then I miss the old Evo, it was perfect for cruising the long hauls.
Still haven't bought my first bike but it's definitely coming in the near future. I've had a lot of recommendations thrown at me from Vstars to Dyna Wide Glides. I'm 40 years old and 6'6" so I think I could handle the heavier bikes without too much issues, but I have long ass legs so the comfort factor would be my primary focus. But like you said, I'll probably shop around and sit on a few to see if it feels right before buying anything.
My first Bike was a 1992 Sportty, rode it for a couple of years then got my 2008 Dyna Super glide Custom and absolutely love Missy (Mistress). Working on getting her the way I want but almost there. If I could attach a photo I would.
What’s good SOSE I’m coming at you from San Jose Cali I started riding cause of my grandpa he used to take me on rides when I was like 4yrs old. I got my first bike at 18 09 ROAD GLIDE!
All good points, however I’m 6-4 280. I’m a big dude. I have an 87 sportster I built and am always improving I ride it everywhere, I ride in an MC and run it right next to the big twins. Stronger shocks, bigger seat, put bars off an ultra and forward controls, I sit comfortably. Bigger guys just have to make the right mods and a sporty can fit you like a glove
I’ve had the pleasure of riding both a street bike and a Harley. In my mind the Harley is more geared towards the rider that is looking for a platform to customize to anything. Clubstyle, bobber, highway cruiser, chopper etc. A Harley holds its value and is American Made. Customizing is similar to modding a car for race or street. With a bike you can do both. And with a Harley it’s more personal. You leave a legacy for your kids to enjoy. You make memories that last forever. 🤟🏽🤟🏽👇🏽👇🏽🔥🔥
Right On Ghost: 1st i got into Motorcycles because at 5 years old on R1A in Rowley mass and a Motorcycle Club rode by from the eyes of a 5 year old i thought it was 500 bikes, looking back might have been 40 or 50, and it was the coolest thing i ever saw and a month later i had my own Rupp mini bike, then my 6th birthday i got a honda trail 50, the later i got a G4 kawasaki 100, then at 14 i got an after school job as the lot boy at the local Harley dealer and got my 1st Harley a 73 SX125 and by 1977 when i finished HS i got a 77 FXS Lowrider. Over my 57 years riding i have owned almost 100 bikes all different brands, but i always come back to Harley, and i'm still a lowrider guy

Very true
yeeeeess. love my vtx 1800, but jealous of harley because theyre the glock of the bike world. everybody...EVERYBODY makes parts n upgrades for them. and its not just their newer bikes. easy to find brand new aftermarket parts for 80s n 90s harleys too
I’ll ad that when I got the chopper bug I was ten years old, back in 1977 and the old school way of homegrown, build your bike was still alive and well.
I’ve been riding my first bike (2008 Harley Nightster) for a few months now and I LOVE it!
Thats awesome congrats
My dad was always buying Harley and then tearing the engine down and making them more powerful. I loved it growing up. My first bike was a gsxr 600 to learn on. Dropped it a few times then right to road king. Flhx now and love it
You’re right about Harley prices. I bought mine and then put 20k into it. I’ll never get that money back. So you better love it
That's like so souping up a toaster. What's the point
Def true ride safe
@@SoseTheGhost two wheels down.
I run thousands of miles a year on my Harley cold rain snow wind don't matter and that's why the last couple of years I've preferred the road glide now that I'm getting older rear suspension and a fairing makes the ride a little more comfy
Its a car with 2 wheels lol
Dirt Glide!!
I liked the highball
Still got my 05 lowrider. That's my girl RIT there 🤘
Just got my first bike last month from my boss, 99 Dyna Wide Glide. Best purchase of my life
Congrats
A lot of family members had Harley’s. I love my 08 night train. My first bike was Harley mini bike. I don’t remember the year of it.
Been riding with a club for a few years now, I started on a Victory. Just recently bought a Ultra Limited that already had most of the upgrades I would do myself. Tons of money that I didn't have to spend and I have the bike I want.
Ride safe
Just got my first motorcycle this year, it's an 08' Harley Fatboy Anniversary edition.
Congrats kai
I ran a Victory Jackpot and loved it but there was no aftermarket. I went to a 2019 Street Glide Special but recently got rid of it because it had so much junk on it I felt like it was practically a car. Now I have an 08 Fat Bob that I’ve done a ton of work to.
The biggest reason i own multiple harleys (still own a honda and just sold my yamaha sport bike) is the parts support, its so easy to get any part you want factry or aftermarket they make everything for a harley.
Very true
In 89 my dad bought a black & cream heritage classic…it is beautiful. He still has it. In 07 I bought my own burgundy & cream one. It’s so beautiful!
Nice
Started riding this year. FIrst bike is a 2007 Harley Nighster with a stage 2, building it out club style. Next add are 13" rear shocks.
Happy for you and yes you are way to big to be on anything but a glide lol
My pops had Harleys, I grew up in the Bay Area, seen many hells angles and other mc clubs . I’ve always loved Harleys ! Nothing beats that Harley sound and nothing compares in my book.
Truth
HD was the only bike I ever wanted. More specifically I have wanted a soft tail springer. 1st bike is my crossbones. I love it and will take it to Valhalla with me
First bike was a 2013 ASPT rigid bobber 113”. Currently building a 1977 Shovelhead custom. As far as what got me to start riding was watching the movie Hell Ride and just appreciating the builds and the bikes. What would be nice is a place so we can show off our builds and bikes.
I did a review on that never dropped it
#GHOSTIN my dob was 5/10/1951.
Man LOD were super cool
@@SoseTheGhost They were! Its a sad shame Animal and Hawk are both gone now.
The Breakout is bad ass. Too bad they discontinued it in 20.
Hulk Hogan was a Harley guy as well
@@skot373 did you know that hawks son wasn't all pro middle linebacker for the LA Rams. I think they're the St Louis Rams at the time .
Sose I have a 2006 Harley Davidson Dyna. It has 18in aps on it and a Vance Hinse exhaust. It is badass bike
Thats awesome
Nice ride safe
I learned on an 883 Iron and then bought a used Sportglide.. now ready to get rid of the 883 Love the Sportglide and Love a BMW 750GS I picked up two months ago.
First bike was a Honda Shadow 1100 w/ 14" bars. Love it. Still ride it as much as possible. 👊🏻
Nice ride safe
Thanks brother roadking was my favorite bike
Your bike is so fire too . Crazy how different it looks from when you first got it
It looks like it was i shouldve did a before and after gotta look at before footage

Got any pics/videos of the old victory? I absolutely love my Vegas.
Yes i do actually
@@SoseTheGhost Badass. You should put a video together if you can. I'm sure I'm not the only Sose/Vic fan out here 🤘
Wanted a bike since I was 5 years old.
Thanks for the vid Sose
much respect..I have a 2005 softail standard..still building..my dream bike
Much respect
Got my first bike a few weeks ago, I’m 26. It’s a Harley dyna low rider 2009, I’m 6 ft. 2 so I wanted something bigger than sportster. So far loving it
Nice
Got a Triumph Cruiser. Triumph America 865. Love it. Zero problems.
My first bike was a Suzuki SV650S, I graduated from that to a Ducati 999 BP, and now my 03 Super Glide
Was late to the motorcycle seen, 35 years old got my license and a Honda vt750 cruiser, 10 years on still have it, suits my size and riding position, stay safe from Northern Ireland
Stay safe
My first bike was a 2016 Dyna Fat Bob. Got hit on it about a week after owning it. I'm a little bigger of a dude, and it never quite fit me completely. Now I have a Road King and lemme tell you, I think the Road King is a vastly overlooked bike. Big touring chassis and frame, comfortable for bigger dudes, but doesn't have all the extra weight those Road Glides and Street Glides have. Much respect and all love to you Sose.
Great to see you out outside the studio, like when you for started out,
My first bike was 1969 BSA 650
This whole channel is like that
My first bike was a '78 FLH I bought with my 1st Navy re-enlistment bonus.
1st
V-star 650
It got me on rd, did rip that exhaust off and but a good sounding exhaust on it.. rode it 2 years. Was good starter bike

First bike 1967 Yamaha 305 two stroke twin
One year to first drive
I was so happy after all that work
I went home to tell my Mom
My Mother and my little Sister both stood up off the couch and applauded me for my accomplishment,
Well I walked the house and that's what they did.
Nice
@@DemonsRow thanks

Thank you heather
I bought me a basket case . Chopped it up made my own stuff with parts and scrap a had laying around. Lol. Runs great!
My first bike and still is, is a 2012 blackline... Not to big and not to small... Best decision I've made
You're from CT..I live in Newburgh NY..23 yrs on sport bikes..went to a Harley Iron 883..love it..I'll go bigger soon but dig the torque of it.
My first street bike was a 1974 tx500. Then a 85 Honda night hawk. I still have my 97 Honda magna along with 11 fatbob. I ride what I like.. I ratted out my TX.
Thanks for keepin it 💯 appreciate that SOSE 👻 im about to be a 1st time harley owner bout to be swoopin a softail slim myself

I was inspired by the easy rider poster my old man put on my wall when I was about 5, from then I was hooked. MLR Glenn Australia FTW 💯
💯 My Dad was in a Motorcycle Club and Captain America Chopper is my dream bike Easy Rider has done more to get people into Biking than any other TV or movie. So I agree with you 110%
Thats awesome
yep, you are so right about customizing a harley. i spent over 2 grand getting my 14" ape hangers and then ended up spending it again to upgrade to 16" apes. apes are an expensive upgrade because of the cables and lines. i personally recommend saving your money and getting as much done as possible when you put it in the shop so they only have to tear it apart once.
i too have a slim. its still in the shop. waiting on tires! been waiting since october!
custom harleys "VICLAS". there's nothing like it. your bike is dope sose. i see your shows and your bike and i get all crazy thinking about how much i miss my bike. hopefully its out of the shop soon
Horex 250, but that was in 1970 and there's been no looking back when it comes to motorcycling
My first Harley is a Heritage2014. But I grew up on all types of bikes dirt and street
Definately tim ride safe
First bike was a 03 zx12 first cruiser was a 03 Honda VTX 1800 looking at the street bob 114 now.
Thats awesome
I have a sportster 2017 ironhead... This thing has too much noise coming from all over... If I could go back I would probably grab a cheap Suzuki gxsr have my fun n by end of summer get rid of it. I'm not giving up on Harley but when I bought it I let "price" dictate my options... If there's a next time I will definitely test ride and pick something that feels right instead of looking at the prices.
Great video as always
Yes so true great advice
I just bought my first Harley Davidson 883 Iron in Black Denim. It’s s the perfect size bike for my frame. I’m not new to bikes but new to Harley Davidson…. I’m never parting with this bike.
Congrats thats awesome
I was given a good deal on a Honda shadow to be my first bike but I've always wanted a heritage softail. Getting into clubs just helped me finally take that step and I love the heritage. Just not the money lol. I agree with just about everything you said though. My Honda shadow looked good and sounded better than my heritage because I still have stock pipes on the Harley lol
Yea we get caught up on labels

You rode em all
I grew up with Harley Davidson.
Thats awesome
The only thing my dad said he had to leave me when I was Young was a house at some Harley's. At 6 I told him he didn't owe me anything or the house...... But ide definitely take care of his Bikes! 🤘
My first bike was is a 2019 Xl sportster 1200 I’m working on stacking up money to either get a new street bob or a 2022 low rider s but as you said I wanna sit on both bikes and maybe test ride them before I buy .
I started with a 96 Suzuki intruder vs800. now i have a 2000 road king classic and loving it. I have put so much money into it just to get it running.
I love the apes appreciate you
Loved the video brother, I am 56 years old and have been behind bars for 51 years yes I have the picture to prove I was 5 years old when I first started riding a bike that my father built with an old Briggs & Stratton engine and a frame that he mocked up himself, I have owned damn near every make of iron horse I think that is out there and I will be honest only last year that I bought my first Harley and 01 road King classic and the only reason I bought it was it had less than 16k miles and less than $5,000.00, as far as people picking out the bike they want a lot of times HD dealerships will have demo rides, that is the best way to ride different type bikes to see which one fits you the best.
Love the videos brother, keep it up 👍
Wow 5 yo thats amazing
Thats awesome
@@SoseTheGhost Cheers from down under, Sose, keep up the good work, you're one of the few channels worth watching on RUclips these days.👍

Nice they need that option
Solid advice man... Nice nod to the Road King Special too, I LOVE MINE!
Road kings are some of the dopest rides
What’s good SOSE I’m coming at you from San Jose Cali I started riding cause of my grandpa he used to take me on rides when I was like 4yrs old. I got my first bike at 18 09 ROAD GLIDE!
Much love shout to san jose

That must have been amazing as a kid
