  • After weighing out the options for the fuse box of the 1964 F100 build I decided to skip the traditional and go with a solid state relay.
Solid state relays can be a huge help when simplifying your wiring while improving the durability of your electrical system. This small box does most of the work of a full sized fuse box. Great for adding additional electrical companies to your build while keeping the wiring as simple and safe as possible.
For our applications we will be powering of electric cooling fan, fuel pump, backup lights, and fig lights once they are installed. This was a great way to add in systems that this older truck simply didn’t come with from the factory.

This would work perfect for my 2 fuel pumps and fan on the trans cooler

I got one for my race car to control everything with thermal switches so simple and so much cleaner. HALF THE COST OF FUCKING MSD TO

Msd's standard one is 20 amps continuous per channel they also have a high current that is 35 for all channels. These definitely are a much nicer unit than standard relays also you can bridge/parallel outputs to meet higher loads as needed.

the MSD one looks a bit nicer just higher quality plastic more compact I'd love to hold the 2 in my hand before buying

I had a problem with this relay triggering fans from the Holley. Kept cutting off relay when fans would activate through the Holley . Dunno if anyone else had had this problem

    Does this relay support PWM?

How are they holding up? Only reviews I found on them were pretty poor but reviews don’t tend to be very trustworthy. Probably msd employees writing them to justify their insane prices.
