  • I talk about a rare Kyosho nitro wheelie car from 1998, called Kyosho Pedal Popper. How I restored it, how I adapted new wheels and body and designed and printed some parts.

Thank you for watching! Its more like my interpretation of the model, since this body was adapted from another Tamiya :)

excellent video friend! And what a rarity of a car, what impressed me the most was that you printed a spur gear and made the steering limiter. You managed to get the car running again! Congratulations! What I don't like about Kyosho is its lousy parts service.

Thank you such a warm comment! I am glad you liked it. I really like collecting and restoring vintage and rare Kyoshos. Yes, part support is bad, even for new models... Its not like Traxxas or Tamiya. I love how Tamiya uses same, modular parts throughout their models and you usually are able to get parts easily. With my Kyoshos, I could not restore them without 3D printer. For gears I used Fusion360 with a gear skecth plugin. Very easy
