Yeah this is absolutely one to react to if you're looking for the creepy vibe you mentioned at the start, plus some of the best wordplay on any hip hop song ever
I've been watching a while guys and have to say the recent songs you've reacted to have been incredible. Keep up the good work, may I recommend Senorita, also by vince staples :)
Would love to see you react to two tracks off his newest album, Big Fish Theory: Big Fish feat. Juicy J Yeah Right feat. Kendrick Lamar Vince is a criminally underrated artist and his last album was so sonically different that I think you’ll like his individuality.
Vince Staples is one of the most underrated artists in the game right now. His ear for production is unique and hasn't stopped evolving since his first mixtapes and it's hard to find anyone who rides over the kind of beats he picks. Lyrically, he mood-swings from tired, angry urban nihilism to dark and sometimes sad introspection to a swaggering postmodern disdain for society's absurdist norms and hypocrisies. You guys need to dig deeper into his discography, for sure. In order from earliest release to newest: Limos Lift Me Up Jump Off The Roof Senorita (great video) Get Paid Loco Big Time Big Fish Yeah Right (don't look up anything about this one beforehand) Party People BagBak
myncraft1 Blue Suede is my shit, but I don't think the boys would get much out of it. Frankly, I'm surprised when anyone that's not from the west coast likes that joint because it feels pretty specific to growing up in LA.
I love the mixtapes, but I don't know if the boys have the ear to appreciate mixtape era Vince yet. The production and mixing/mastering was still a little shaky. Just my opinion, but I figured it's smarter to put them on starting at Hell Can Wait because he's fully formed as an artist at that point.
best ways to kill time 1) watching vince staples interviews 2) looking through vince staples tweets dude is the perfect mix of pessimistic and hilarious

You guys would love Yeah Right by Vince Staples - there’s a little surprise in there that I hope isn’t spoiled for ya, cuz that would be an AMAZING reaction.
I love Vince Staples, I'm so happy you guys are reacting to him! Vince writes his song in an unusual way where he writes his verses first then finds a beat that fits them. He's a gangster crip from Long Beach, California that uses rap as a way out and see's it more of a job than anything. He says that as long as he can pay his momma's bills he's good. He's a really interesting dude and very introspective which, somehow, leads him to be pretty funny I'd really recommend Señorita by Vince Staples! Keep up the great work!

It's great that you guys have gotten around to Vince Staples. Cool is a great way to describe him. There isn't anything crazy about his delivery or they subject matter but he does draw you in. The music is dark in a lot of his songs, he's lyrically gifted and if you explore deeper I think he's someone you'll really enjoy. Other songs I'd recommend are Señorita, Blue Suede, Screen Door, Jump off the Roof, Lift Me Up, Big Time, Prima Donna
Honestly great to see metalheads embrace hip hop. Rappers been loving metal since day one. Thats why so many rappers have their own mental bands (some end up going with punk or indie rock as well)
I'm StOcKeD u guys are finally reacting to Vince Staples and I'm happy this was enough to interest u guys into more of Vince's music but a few videos ago u guys mentioned reacting to Lupe Fiasco and since then I've just had tunnel vision for that lol
Vince Staples is a genuine master of repetition in hiphop, he's one of the very few guys who can pull it off. Check out some of his other music like Lift Me Up, 745, Blue Suede, Big Fish, Jump off the Roof, etc.
Eminem Kamikaze...the whole album, especially the first 9 tracks. Although, react and listen to the whole shit. Just incase have genius lyrics open for better understanding. Thanks

Señorita b. Vince Staples is a brilliant song and a brilliant video. You guys should definitely give it a shot. Probably my favorite song of his alongside Norf Norf
THANK YOU SO MUCH! This song is actually sort of a joke flexing song where hes just talking shit, but his subject matter is generally very dark and serious. Hes arguably the most interesting figure in hip hop right now. He has moved more toward putting really apocalyptic lyrics over heavy electronic production recently and is totally unique in his sound. But what makes this dude is his wit, intelligence and personality. His interviews will blow you away. Try something like Smile or Yeah Right or War Ready next. This kid is gonna go down as one of the best ever
i love rock/ metal and rap like this. I had never seen this channel before but clicked because I love this song. nice channel! Why is the music vid cut up though?
as a long beach native, im glad vince is getting the recognition he deserves. the north (norf) side is a place i dont go to very often though. kinda scary being there after dark.
I think the reason Vince’s music is so fucking strong is because he’s the only person really pushing gangster rap forward in any way. He also states his opinions as facts. He doesn’t come off as stupid like most gangster rappers do, he comes off as someone young, arrogant, but intelligent. He also does a lot of subtle experimentation. Listen to the beginning of the beat at Norf Norf and then listen to the ending of it. It’s a completely different song by the end. But you’d never notice it.
