Great convo of past and present and vice versa
VINCE.
the difference between hip hop and other genres is that all other genres die out when they start to make the same music, but hip hop is always changing. The sound of today will not be the sound in the next 2 years.
Vince special.

i hate how Joey couldn't get the floor
thought it was a new one...
i think earl or tyler would offer good insight into this conversation
XXXTentacion was a rapper that could do all genres succesfully. I feel like the people that didnt like him, aside from his legal issues, didnt like him because they hadnt first heard the “genre” that spoke to them. Most people heard him because of Look At Me, so everyone assumed he only made that type music..i

Vince go hard but he was talking over The Ghost and Joey too much 😑 Great content all round though
Will the podcast happen here now? And when's the new new coming?
This nastee guy need to listen and learn more.. Look at ice t from the west coast.. That's hip hop!
32:00
About 10:00 Master P says something about Hip-Hop being A young sport (it isnt A sport to me), his logical defense is equivalent to saying anyone "younger is more effecient" in any situation because he's talking about youth being advantaged. Pretty vague.
Thought this was new.
I been saying this sub genre shit for years
47 minutea? im still waiting for king capital joey?
Tough
1:20
damn i never knew vince was so narrow minded. and everyone in the comments thinks hes smart just cuz hes talking fast, and talking over everyone. this guy didnt start listening to music until he was an adult. he only started to care about music cuz he saw money attached to it, talking about people are only doing it for the money. Thats why the music industry is the way it is. Cuz of guys like this just doing it for money and not for the art whatsoever. We're the same age, and I'm white. We grew up with the internet. Once i learned about hiphop when i was like 9 I started doing research on older artists immediately. I grew up on the east coast. I was getting hip hop from the west, south, midwest, everywhere. He thinks just cuz the small little hood he grew up in did nothing but gangbanging that there wasnt black/white people just a town over that was just going to work and listening to music LOL. Like he thinks his hood is the whole country or some shit, even all of california. Hiphop wouldnt have even made it off the streets if white people all over the country wasnt listening to it. Everything this guy is saying is insane. And dumb people just hear that he doesnt shut the fuck up for two seconds and theyre like, wow hes smart. Even everyone in the room missed everything he was actually saying cuz he was just talking non stop non sense.
I fuxx with Vince but I disagreed fr ! He don’t know hip hop speak for himself
Apollo 17 photo. Look that shit up. The isnt fucking flat .
Mann Vince wasn’t feeling styles at all 🤦🏽♂️ prime example of hip hop in true form vs current rap !
Vince Staples don't even belong in the same city as SP the Ghost after hating on Eminem.
Kind of insensitive to label a genre with a race. Like do you think only black people suffer? Kind of selfish. People don't even know my country's name till they google it but cause I'm white I'd get looked at like I ain't been through no shit. I really hate this race thing.
