To join the gossip bandwagon, I’d say that it seems like Brody smothered Elsa. Putting someone on a pedestal is always a bad idea. Usually it indicates obsession which goes hand in hand with anger and misery. At least that’s been my life’s observations.
Or maybe Brody is a great guy but not compatible with Elsa. Sometimes we can have great chemistry but if you’re not compatible, one or both will be miserable.

Adrian Brody is, in my opinion, the best actor in the world today! And, I judge that by my ability to watch his films and totally forget that it is Adrian Brody and really get into the story believing he IS the character he is portraying! My favorite movie of his is "Cadillac Records" and, of course, who could ever forget how he so convincingly played "The Pianist" and practically carried that whole movie by himself! To find that he is also an incurable romantic makes his story even more compelling! Think Elsa may have picked "brawn" over brains and incredible talent but, I guess that is her thing!
