Thank you so much. This is exactly what I was looking for. Just waiting for the Fusion to arrive and it's great to see a completely mobile workflow can be achieved with the new update. Thanks again
Great video my question is when using overcapture from mobile devices do you lose any video quality as opposed to rendering over the computer based editing software? Thanks
Great video. Huge tip you gave me was getting the photo capture to be non-360 by touching the upper left corner. Wow. Great tip for me. Didnt know that.
Thank you for the effort put it into this tutorial. After rendering, is there an option to export it as a file you can then edit? I know reframing is NOT available on the Fusion Desktop Software yet. So without the use of Adobe Premiere the only way reframing is possible is on the iPhone or iPad. I use FCPX & wanting to reframe it, using my iPad, then export a high quality file to edit in FCPX. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.
Thanks for the tutorial. This is exactly what I was looking for. My two big questions: 1. Are you losing any quality in the 5.2K video when you go this mobile-only route for 360 videos? 2. Has GoPro fixed the issue w/ RUclips only recognizing the 360 footage as 4K and not 5.2K? (I was told that was a function of RUclips requiring a 2880p vertical pixel count in order to classify as "5k" but GoPro Fusion is just under that, requiring upscaling in an editor before uploading to RUclips)
Awesome video man🔥 but so when u said that iPhones don’t support spherical content does that mean I can’t download it at all to get to my camera roll? Or can I?
Great video. After you record with your final edits is there a way to send the final product to iMovie? I would like to be able to add text and such to my videos.
Thans for the clear video! The question I have is about the way the mediafiles are sorted within the app. I guess it is in order of the the filenumber? Is it adjustable eg by date? The most recent, first in the row. The thing is that older and newer files are now mixed and it sometimes takes quite some searching to find back the recent recordings/photos. Hope my question is clear and maybe you can help.
I dont get how this overcapture is different than buying a $100 gear 360 and using the free Collect app to record to rectangular, the video will be less distorted/spherical??
can you help me how to edit the video in 360, because i just want the video with ration in 16:9 but the gopro fusion default video is 360, i tried to turn stabilization on but the camera isn't focus on me, the stabilization makes the frame stand still so when I move the camera won't focus on my face and it creates a stickline, sorry my english is a bit bad because i am vietnamese but i hope for your support, thanks
Hi, Very informative vídeo. I am thinking about buying this câmera. I have two questions. The app for Android has the same features? Is it possible to download a clip from the câmera to the Cel phone and then Export It to my MacBook ? I want to try to avoid the usage oficial fusion Studio because I read It requires a very fast machine and my MacBook pro 13" is a couple of years old. Thank you
I am not sure to tell you the truth is I don’t own any android devices. There was some limitations on the android Version I am not sure if that has since been changed
Pretty strange. I just got a notice popping up saying "Feature not available. Your iphone dosen´t support this Fusion feature. To downloaad this content, get Fusion Studio for desktop at gopro.com".. At the camera info i got version 01.70.00 an the iphone app is the latest from appstore
I have successfully downloaded the 360 video files to my iPhone using the GoPro App. Then using OverCapture, I saved from the 360 video a 360 spherical photo. However, the new 360 photo is not saved to the iPhone Camera Roll. (I can see the new 360 photo has been saved in the GoPro App Library.) Any ideas how to transfer the new photo to my computer for further editing in Photoshop/Lightroom?
it can be done, however you will use up a lot of storage on your phone. You will need back up you videos to and external drive to free up space. I rarely edit on my computer I am always on the go and do most editing on my phone as well
I start to hate fusion pro !! The problem is when I pair it with my mobile Huawei P20 , it lag and choppy during record and play back in my mobile! App.! Any idea to fix that?? Thanks
Still using the fusion? I returned mine but really missing it..I returned because I watched to many negative videos talking about issues and got worried I blew money
Q: I have a GoPro 5 Black. I'm trying to do exactly what you did in the video via the GoPro app; however, I don't see the 'Edit' icon. Rather, I have the following...one screen has 'Home', 'Quik' and 'Library?' After selecting a photo, I see a 'Share', 'Info' and 'Download'. Any guidance on what I need to complete in order to do what you're doing in the video? Thanks in advance.

Yes it works Very well and from what I’m hearing just the tip of the iceberg of the features That will be added via updates over the coming months
Wow! I love that OVERCAPTURE feature.
Yes it is very cool and more enhancements and features to come
I am wanting to use OverCapture for videos almost 1 hour long. Is that plausible or would the render times take forever?
Great video my question is when using overcapture from mobile devices do you lose any video quality as opposed to rendering over the computer based editing software? Thanks
Hi! What about the video quality when you share a video directly from the phone? For example to Facebook?
Tks
This was super good to watch and check the simple editing options while using the phone! I'm gonna give it a try! Thank you!
Great video. Huge tip you gave me was getting the photo capture to be non-360 by touching the upper left corner. Wow. Great tip for me. Didnt know that.
Awesome walk through. Thank you.

Yes. Ups the resolution to 5.6K!

Please can you compare the Garmin Virb, GoPro Fusion and Insta 360 OneX?
Do you know if your able to use the stabilizer ability with the app?

I’m thinking about to buy a gopro fusion but .. i don’t have powerful computer ... is it Ok with Mobile Overcapture for long term use ?
it can be done, however you will use up a lot of storage on your phone. You will need back up you videos to and external drive to free up space. I rarely edit on my computer I am always on the go and do most editing on my phone as well

@@AirPhotography how long does it take to stich a minute ok 4 k on your phone?
I start to hate fusion pro !!

Excellent, thanks for this.
Still using the fusion? I returned mine but really missing it..I returned because I watched to many negative videos talking about issues and got worried I blew money
They have made many improvements with the software and stabilization. Far better than when first released.
Thank you.
Sir how is the image quality of camera for still images? I am planning to buy
The fusion has a great image quality compared to some others. Not as crisp as say a hero 6. But nice quality

Over capture is only a feature for if the go Pro fusion… Have you updated your GoPro app?
Air Photography I believe so - shows I version 4.3.1
Is that what you have?
It won’t work with the GoPro 5. It is designed for the GoPro fusion. Get the fusion! It is fun!
Lights are reflecting on your mobile,.. it's so disturbing.. otherwise video is good and help full..
You will get 👍🏻
Thanks man ...
Wow!
android not overcapture?
