I just want to take a moment to say you are a very nice person. It is so cool that you take the time to SHARE your knowledge so selflessly, giving new candle makers much needed and appreciated information. I'd been searching online for good labels, but as you well know---it can be costly. This is EXACTLY what I needed - so again, thank you for being so open and willing to share. Very, very cool. :-)
Wow weeeeee!! This is super helpful, I can't tell u how much I appreciate you taking the time to share this label making tutorial. Your doing a great job. Thanks
Hi, I was just watching your video on making labels. I grew up in Tacoma, but lived right on the sound there near the bridge. Most of my cousins still live up there in Gig Harbor too. I spent a good amount of my childhood at horseshoe lake. Anyways thought I'd say hello to a fellow Gig Harbor- neighbor. Take care. -Rebecca, Couture Candles & Gifts
Thank you so much for this video. I don't sell my candles (yet!) but I'd like to make my gifts look nicer and more professional. This helps me immensely. Thanks for taking the time to show us how.
Thanks for this super helpful tutorial! I love how you are using both Canva and Avery, Geunius! My candles are going to look amazing thanks to your tutorial!
Omg I am extremely grateful and happy to have found this video. You are truly the BEST. Thanks do much for breaking each step down one by one for us first time users. I really appreciate you 🤗🤗
I created my first labels with Canva following your previous tutorial..It was so easy to do! I don't know anything about design but I was thrilled about the outcome...if you'd like I could show them to you on Instagram...thank you again for sharing! Hugs fom Argentina ❤️
Thank you I'll look into this canvas website..last night I was trying to order some uploaded labels 2×2"5 250 for cheap but the shipping was 17.00 that made for total to 48.00 🤣 I gave up
Standley Handcrafted have you had any issues with alignment printing from Avery? No matter what I try they’re always off. Even tried different printers and ordered directly through them using WePrint. It’s off by just enough to drive me insane, even the ones that they printed!
i like it so much thanks, how do you print the label in transparent, or what the name of the paper that can make the label with transparent background?, thanks
Hi standley im from barbados i am new to candle making i like the black and white transparent label u have i don't print at home how can i get like that to take to get printed
Totally off topic… I live in southern Oregon. Where do you get the bulk of your candle supplies to keep shipping costs down? There are no local suppliers in my area.
Nice video. I was wondering if you can help. I buy my jars from CandleScience and use medium straight sided jars and 3-wick tumbler jars. Can you guide me with the labels sizes for these two jars?
I'm getting all my supplies to make home made candles. I just need to make the stickers for the candles then I will be all set. I subscribed to your channel. Its a bit confusing to me right now. A lot of information, but thank you
I found Avery too be a right pain in the rear for round labels, much preferred word as it allows .001 margin adjustments, and Avery only allows adjustments in 1mm . Great video, I enjoy watching your stuff.
Could you please tell me what are the heat resistance lable sheets called so I can put on my candles? Also, where I can buy them at? How do you know what size to get for different shaped candles?
Hey question is it better to start with Esty or start with my own website. My son knows how to do the web cite and as for marketing I was thinking of my church, friends and family. The best word by mouth
I would find some logos you like and start playing with some ideas or altering them to fit your design idea or make it your own. There are some nice websites out there for logo work and coming up with ideasa.
What type of paper do you use for this? Where do you get the type of paper? Do you need a special printer or can you use a basic printer?! Sorry for the questions lol
Thanks for sharing this. I need to make my first labels and I'm not tech savvy! This was helpful. I do however have a question. Is there a way to have 2 or more scents, net weights etc on the same page? I'd like to print to different fragrances on same sheet. Thanks in advance!
Hi Mr. Jeff What’s your suggestion on renaming a frangrance for example if I purchase a watermelon scent instead of placing watermelon on labels and I put (refresh) where would I add the actual scent or scent notes
Hiiiiii great video! I noticed you said something about you print with a laser printer if I'm not mistaken, can you print with a regular inkjet printer on these Avery 2 2 8 2 2 x 4 clear labels? Or does it have to be an inkjet printer? Thank you so much this was very helpful
Are you using an actual 2x4 label for your jar? The part number brings up a 2x3 for me. I’m watching this on a mobile device so it was hard to read what the Avery page showed during your tutorial. Thanks
Quick question jeff: do you use those same dimensions to make the labels for your black tumbler jars or do you use a different dimension? And if so can you please tell me what dimension you use?
So I am just starting out. I have 24 jars. I want to do two candles of each fragrance and name idea.. Is there a way to design my labels and change the fragrance name on the label every two labels? Hope this makes sense. Thanks for your videos
Thanks for this video! I'm very new at candle making and labeling, do you use normal sticky paper when actually printing out your labels? And do you recommend white or transparent paper? Thanks!!

How do you cut the labels? I’ve tried many different options and I could use some insight on the best way to get the labels perfectly cut.
Great information! Everything you need to know in one video! Thank you for sharing
Very informative and helpful. Now I just have to find out if my printer will print clear labels. Thank you.

Regular vinyl labels work great. Avery makes a bunch of labels that stick well and don’t burn.

Kristina F Absilolutrly, lasers just tend to get a high quality print for small details and their most effective over time. 🙂
Also can you give me any tips on how I can create my own logo/design? I really like yours!

Hello, what about your black labels? Do you print those on black paper or use up all of your black ink and does it show a nice dark black? Ty
Hi Mr. Jeff What’s your suggestion on renaming a frangrance for example if I purchase a watermelon scent instead of placing watermelon on labels and I put (refresh) where would I add the actual scent or scent notes
You could put it on the warning label if you wanted to add it at all.
Standley Handcrafted ok so I would just create a warning label and add watermelon on it?
Thanks alot my dude, you're awesome 😎🕺
What kind of paper do you buy to print your labels on ?

Some kind of photo printer, color if you need color
I was wondering what type of printer and paper did you use for it to be transparent and sticky?
Do you put warning stickers on your jars? If so, what do you use and where do you place them?
I bought 100 warning stickers for my candles and I believe they cost around $5.00 and then I just put them on the bottom of my candle. Hope this helps
