Lin-Manuel Miranda delivers a lively and comedic musical tribute to 2023 Kennedy Center Honoree Billy Crystal.
The Kennedy Center Honors is an annual honor given to those in the performing arts for their lifetime of contributions to American culture.
The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is proud to celebrate the 46th Honorees for lifetime artistic achievements: actor and comedian Billy Crystal; acclaimed soprano Renée Fleming; British singer-songwriter producer, and member of the Bee Gees, Barry Gibb; rapper, singer, and actress Queen Latifah; and singer Dionne Warwick.
The event took place Sunday, December 3rd, 2023, in the Kennedy Center Opera House, and premieres Wednesday, December 27 at 8pm ET on CBS and will be available for viewing on Paramount+.

I love watching The Kennedy Center show each year. For the inductee's that you haven't heard of, you learn so much. Plus, you learn so much more about the inductee's you are aware of. Watching the show always causes me to have tears of joy and happiness. Plus, watching the inductee's reaction to the individual's honoring them is truly genuine and totally heartfelt.

Tributes like these are what make The Kennedy Center Honors so special and endearing!! 💙 Watching this last night on CBS was truly a marvelous surprise from Lin-Manuel Miranda as he put on the BEST tribute for Billy Crystal in inspiration for his Oscars' openings! I have had amazing tears of joy for all 5 honorees as they have shared their artistic wonders to the world! All are so deserving of being rewarded and can't help but enjoy all of the tributes! Huge congratulations to Billy Crystal as well as Barry Gibb, Dionne Warwick, Queen Latifah, and Renee Flemming!! 🎭🎶 Thank you very much Kennedy Center!!!

Thank you so much for sharing this video of 1 of 3 of my favorite actresses and actors, Billy Crystal and our beloved Robin Williams is also a national treasure. Wow, I didn't know that Billy Crystal was honored at the Kennedy center. Now he needs to be honored with an honorary Oscar yes. More than deserved & certainly earned. Of course, Robin Williams did win Oscar. I love Robin Williams so much still. The 3rd time in my life, I felt the floor give beneath me.
When I heard he had died. He is my hero in so many ways. Then just an actor. I pray that he is at peace. It took me a long time to be able to let him go.
