Made the lemon turmeric cake with the cashew frosting, and it was delicious! The frosting really tasted like cheesecake, and everything was very easy to put together. I'd recommend to add less sugar in the cake if you choose to have the frosting alongside. I'll definitely use recipe again :)
I finally got round to making your apple cheesecake last night and tried it for the first time this morning with an iced coffee, and omg it is AMAZING. It really reminds me of the kind of cakes I used to find in Germany back when I lived there for a while. It's making me think that I should try your other cheesecake recipe as well - although I do love the apple and cinnamon flavour in this one! Thanks so much for the recipe. :)
P.S. If I might make a request, I would love any German-inspired recipes you might be able to come up with - I'd love to know how to make Maultaschen, Spaetzle, Sachertorte, Zimtwuppi, Quarkini... I'm not sure whether these are all common in Berlin though! As I was mostly in the south.
Omg your vids r a real therapy for me. I never fell in love with the process of baking more than after I watched your recipes. It always stressed the hell out of me to cook or bake,SO Much that I never managed to bake a single thing n now quarantine's over n school has started I feel like such a loser😭😭😭😩I also fell a Lotta pressure when all my relatives have been baking tons n bragging about it. I'm vegan too the only one in my family. Thank u I might actually be able to start on something❤️🌼💕🌻
Thank you for mentioning the stuff been going on and given information in the description in a discreet way. Whilst being very passionate about the BLM I also have really bad mental health. And hearing about something like BLM all the time makes it consume me and I get obsessed and forget about my health and ultimately lead myself into a very bad place. I've been struggling to find a way to be active about the topic whilst leaving room for myself, for getting better and not letting myself drown in my own mind. So it is very nice to have a break from directly talking and thinking about it and instead having some time to think about something I find very relaxing like baking a cake. Everyone is struggling right now, we need to remain strong and try our bests but that includes mental health and includes looking after ourselves too whether we're an ally or a black person. We cannot maintain strength if we do not ensure our mental health and even physical health needs are met. So to anyone and everyone struggling right now, you're not alone, we'll get through all of this and things will definitely be okay. Remember to rest, remember to relax and remember to give yourself time not to think about anything. And remember to eat some cake! 💜

Love the video! However flax egg works best when the seeds are finely ground because it can absorb water better. Our stomach can’t digest the full seeds, if you don’t grind them it just passes through our body without getting all the nutritions out of it

Thank you for the fantastic recipes! I always poke holes into the top of my lemon cake with a fork, so that the icing can sink into the cake as well. Should be working great for the lemon turmeric cake too. :)

It's really just a traditional apple cheesecake. When cheesecake first became a thing, the baked kind, it had a pie crust sort of base. :)
