I've wondered whether maybe it was that those who were voting for Danny washisface (came third) were more consrvative (and yes, homophobia playing its part), so a large proportion of his voters went to Kris (also a respectable christian, though a much nicer guy as far as you can tell from a tv show). doesn't really matter now anyway.
Actually being gay had nothing to do with it... when he performed with Queen and the other contestant Chris he took a job with them which is why he is now the front man for Queen!

Everything worked out the way it was suppose to. Adam would have already had offers and being tied up with winning AI would not have allowed him to pursue them. Adam won. It was evident with his talent. 🤗❤️
