A woman that takes no crap from anyone . I love her personality
Me too. Loved her portrayal in The Crown. Like to think that was close, who can forget that "Sweetie" scene. Have to say, rather think her husband Tim seems lovely. Just so special to see him walk with her in the funeral procession and who remembers that interview when he said no comment on her fashion choices. Now that is true love! I am glad she has someone like that beside her. She will always remain a Queen in my eyes. I think I am mourning most for her right now, losing both close parents. Out of all the Royal Family I have thought that Princess Anne and Prince Edward have accepted their Mothers reign most sincerely and the tasks which go with it. I could say similar of Prince William in a way, but he has expressed his views before. If any of us were born to an office without a freedom of choice we would struggle. But he and Kate seem sincere in many ways like William's Great Grandfather, The King was during the Blitz. Those scenes meeting the people of Britain are just so moving still. I am just sad The Queen couldn't be with you all to see Britain reinvigorated following Brexit. Her beaming smile and that twinkle in her eye is my lasting impression of her reign. It just lit up rooms and she was so much more still. For those who want to Google it, Parliament House in Canberra is lit up with images of The Queen and the words are very special too. Thinking of you all in this moment of national mourning with The Royal Family. Smiling at her last gift to "my people's" is that you are all lined up together along The Thames, rich, poor, from the Commonwealth and beyond, admiring the landmarks the World loves too, but they are all yours.
In 1974 the Princess Royal was 24 yrs old and a man with mental problems attempted to kidnap her as she and her husband returned from an event. His goal was to get a ransom of 2 million pounds. 7 people were injured but Princess Anne refused to get out of the car and tried to calmly and politely deal with her potential kidnapper. In the end he demanded she get out of the car to which she replied "Not Bloody Likely" and refused.
This is the essence of what a Brit is................

@@g.immanuel3151 yes, she spoke about that event on her interview with Michael Parkinson. Not being in Britain, that interview was only recently aired again here. She may well do some wonderful roles in future I hope.
Princess Anne outshines so many ❤. She exemplifies the very best of both of her parents. As a American I have always been in awe of her. When the term “working royals” is said, in my mind she’s the best of the best….
She out shines most of the entire family with the exception perhaps of Wills and Catherine. Her children are courteous and polite and know how to keep their private lives out of the media.
She should be Queen

i was never a fan of Princess Anne but seeing her during this mourning period for her mother the Queen i realise she has more guts than any other Royal.
Everyone thinks she's aloof and standoffish i promise you that she is anything but.
She has an amazing sense of humour, mess up and she takes no prisoners and is definitely her father's daughter.get on herring side or step on her toes and her verbal response will blister the paint. Yet she is the !its caring compassionate woman you could ever meet.

The Princess Royal exhibits the best aspects of both her parents: her father's "take no nonsense" mentality, her mother's love for the people and both her parent's dedication to duty. She is amazing and truly worthy of the title she holds. All you have to do is look at the faces of the people she meets; their love is clearly shown on their faces.

Princess Anne goes about her duties so quietly that her immense dedication is easily overlooked. She is a daughter ANY parent would be honored to have. The epitome of no-nonsense, no fuss, humble commitment to duty. We could all learn a lot of lessons from this lady.

An American here growing up reading watching and following the royal family and Princess Anne is my favorite. She’s a no nonsense royal that’s so hard working, the respect she has for her mother the late Queen Elizabeth brings me to tears.
