Oh yeah so good so many teams passed on him even the dude from Arizona who had the ACL injury got drafted before guyton 🤦 this was a terrible pick considering all the other players who were on the board, cowboys could have just selected a tackle in the second round
@@allenwilliamsii4381 Jackson Powers-Johnson was on the board hell Zack Frazier would have been a way better pick than guyton, the rest of the cowboys draft is going to be shit.
He’s played 9 games……he’s raw as heck, he’s switching sides…….this was a dumb move, Take Barton at 24 and make other trades to get that higher 3rd round pick
Should educate yourself. He played 29 games in college. Know what a high ceiling player is? A guy with the things you can’t teach that are at a very high level. Once he gets it together you’ll eat these words.
Given the depth at the tackle spot in this draft this was a smart and safe developmental pick. Hopefully they can turn that 3rd into some extra defensive power
I watched the film and saw what I love most, how he reacts to the bull rush and speed end rush. He stays right in front of them. For example, RT can’t block the speed rush , his feet are like they are in mud.
He could potentially become the best LT in the NFL. If he’s a put your hard hat on, nose to the grind stone worker, we are in great shape. I’m a little weary about the 6’8” height and all but maybe it’s for the better… 🤷♂️ We shall see…
Wow @1:21sec he covered a lot of space and was square with the defender the whole time.. this boy knows a lot about PROTECTION! A+ pick yeee THEE GUYTON 🔥🫡
I get we needed a tackle but the day one starting tackles were off the board this guy is a project and I doubt Jackson or Frasier will be there when we pick in the 2nd. Only hope is that they use that 3rd and package to go up and get one of the two tomorrow night.
There were like 2 day 1 starting LT's in the first round. And they were long gone. All of the others were just like him RTs. With maybe the upside and ceiling to play the left. Most of them were talked about as moving to guard. Not packaging picks to move up for those centers. No way. The goal was to add not to now give them back. For a center. Never happen. There are other centers that can come in in later in the draft to compete for center. If anything drop back a little in the 2nd if who you want isnt there or you think you can get him a little farther down and grab another pick.
I hope people remember he’s the 8th tackle taken…really Barton was a tackle so he should be the 9th…he maybe an outstanding athlete but let’s pump the brakes on the hype train
He likes to block but he doesn't like to maul. That is my key takeaway. Can nasty be "taught" or not so much? Maybe Tyler Smith rubs off on him? Trade down made it a good selection so all good.
the longer we have him the more tape i get to watch and honestly he just has to finish better and work on hands once he gets in the lab with duke he'll be a monster left tackle
And yet the eagles keep upgrading and Micah Parsons is mad that the cowboys didn't get a Great CB ! No offense But The Eagles is Loaded and They going on a Revenge tour and I can't wait to see them face the Cowboys. Stephen a Smith is going to laugh at y'all
Grade this pick 👇.
B+ honestly I just wanted a o line and great job by trading down and getting a few extra draft picks while still getting your guy

Can't be mad. 6'8" 320lbs and the most athletic tackle in the draft. With some good coaching he can be a monster
That's what I'm saying

Best part of this pick is the added value by trading back and getting the extra 3rd and still getting a good tackle
Not really hes a bust
@@JohnnyJackson746he's really not a bust
@JohnnyJackson746 I remember alot of people saying that dallas reached big time when they drafted Zack Martin
@@geraldwilson727same thing with Tyler smith
Some of these same posters hated that Tyler Smith pick a few years ago…….i trust our OL evaluations! Getting that extra 3rd is money!
I watch him on TV against good teams, with Tyler Smith & others help & Mentor him, I believe he's will be good player.
This is why I love this channel

We turned pick 24 into two players. A future left tackle and arguably the best guard in the draft. I’ll take that over Barton any day.
His QB was left handed. He played the right side to protect the blind sided Left handed QB. He is a natural left tackle.
This boy is a beast
Reminds me of a younger Tyrone Smith 🙌🏿 hope he turns out that way with playing a full season on all his games or playing more then Tyrone was able to
Great pick! GO COWBOYS!

Will have some growing pains but this is a solid pick!

I thought your mock 17.0 was the most likeLy and so far it is looking great. Not sure when/how they will address C position.
Gold
Trade down, add #73 in 3rd Rd, and still get the tackle they wanted. Pretty solid pick
He will fit in nicely on the Dallas O-Line
Dallas trades back and Still gets Guyton.......Great job Cowboys !!!
Let’s go❤

Good Pick....I like it
I really hope so
The only redeeming quality of the trade back was acquiring an extra top 100 pick. There’s a good chance Guyton isn’t a starter this year.

Don’t see any nasty or finish on plays. Just don’t get it. I guess computers said he was who they should pick. Maybe the need a new algorithm
Guyton is an athletic kid, but some rawness needs to be "cooked up" if you know what I mean.
2026 starter smh all in huh jerry
Trust dallas they have hit on all their first round o linemen
