I want to headcanon that after Simon kills Dracula the wife gets angry and says "Simon! That was just our real estate agent trying to sell us the castle! I wanted to surprise you but he needed to pick me up to get some things sorted out real quick, you didn't have to kill him!"
Dispite being a CV fan I haven't tackled Haunted castle on arcade, not that I shy away from difficulty even doing NG Black among other stuff this one just felt it had extra OOMPH. Nice job M2
Very Hard mode would be nice, feels much easier than Castlevania ReBirth by the same M2. But it's a bonus game and ReVisited is excellent for players which want comfy Castlevania experience tho

I like this remake for the most part, but I think the lighting is too bright and the colors are lively for a supposedly darkness-themed game.
