The implication in the final boss' dialogue is that it isn't really Dracula, just an evil spirit born from Dracula's residual magic and Maxim's character flaws that are massively exaggerated in his evil half, which is kinda weird to think. I bet Death was planning to betray Evil Maxim and use him as a host to revive the True Dracula early.

Most japanese versions call him Shinigami (God of Death). Since Shinigamia are a type of creatures and not a singular entity, that makes Death likely "just" a very powerful entity that happened to join Dracula. Take that with a grain of salt though, since Castlevania loves to blur western and eastern mythology, so in the end, Death could be either Grim Reaper or Death God.

I think Death in Castlevania is just a powerful demon, not the 'death' as fundamental fact of reality.
ReverendSyn Because somehow Dracula is way more powerful than Death itself and Death somehow found a friend in him pledging allegiance whenever he is "alive". When you beat Death you don't kill it, you just weaken it's physical form.
Well think about it too hard and you'll realize the whole paradox of "Killing death."
well because Dracula can't die. So Death has no power over him. I think thats why
Video appreciated! Love how the bats get attacked, gotta practice to get thorough with asskicking proficience!
The shields he used while fighting death and talos are a gradius reference!
Wait what was Gradius again?
It's a space shooter. look it up.
Hmm...I think I've played it like when I was a wee bit lad. If it's that same game then damn I enjoyed it so much. Thanks for the heads up!
no problem!👍
I already knew this meme, but I never thought this shield to be so......badass
What I loved about this game was the simplicity of the gameplay. Cant say the same about the color choices they made though.
this game = CLASSIC
I played this on my silver GBA SP
Good game and good memories
The fairy counter bonk finish was top tier
ジュスト強え、カッコいい。
Pow hammer
Anime girls with hammer always destroys the most.
Legion (corpse) is surprisingly digusting and creepy😱
¿Can you do a video of ''All Bosses (No Damage)'' of Super Punch Out!! or Rondo of Blood?
Don't know about "Super Punch Out" but I definitely will do "Rondo of Blood". I'm planning to do all old Castlevania in the new format ''All Bosses (No Damage) with subweapons". But till then, you can see our old videos of Rondo of Blood ruclips.net/p/PL054022292E5DDD44
Juste is probably the first belmont that I actually felt powerful to play as.
You got touched lots of times but for some reason it took no damage, I know this game.
sometimes in games the actual hitbox data doesn't match perfectly with the visual animations
On some special attacks he becomes invencible during the animation.
This game never felt like a challenge. He is just too OP since the beginning in my opinion. That dash alone makes any boss battle a breeze.
This game had a weird concept, but I liked nonetheless.
Also, my favorite magic was Book+Ice. ^^
l like ice type too and l am thinking in buy the cartridge of this game for my nintendo ds one day and l don't care if this is a old game >;)
@@franciscodavi1323 But I like ALL elemental types.
@@andrehenrique976 in reality all of the are good in a way
Definitely the best average castlevania game not gonna lie
Its cool
And bosses are neat too
It's so funny to think in later games most of these bosses are just random fodder enemies
Harmony of Dissonance was the first Castlevania game I played.
man legion is so fuckin rad. im glad hes in this game twice
Maxim: Gey ready to die!!
Juste: Ok. Let me tie my shoelace.
I love this game I joined when I was teenager :)
In my own opinion Castlevania Harmony of dissonance bosses Is the most unique, 2 legions, Pazuzu and Cyclops are so damn!🔥
Any chance of you doing a Demon's crest play through with no damage? (Including the Dark Demon). I looked over your channel to see if you have done one already but didn't see anything.
18:40 hey that's not Talos, I wonder where he could---😐😐😐 okay that answer my question that thing got destroyed
@Kerry vans Konsol How did he does so much damage to me in the Luminous Cave but not at the Entrance?
He truly is richter’s ancestor
No, juste first before richter
27:58 Implied three-way! Considering how sexy they all are I'm okay with this.
That's awesome hahaha
Where is the implication?
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Robert Jindra might as well just say you’re lame.
I got an ipega to beat all the hand held castlevania games. It comes Friday I can't wait to try this one with a controller

Bro this game was great like 😌👌
More like a 😷👎
I swear even tho this game isn't that good compared to pretty much any other castlevania game the one thing I like the most is Juste(or whatever this Belmont's name is) as far as I concerned he is *The* fastest character in the series this guy can even leaves after images after he JUMPS
Harmony of Dissonance is much better than the dumpsterfire that was Circle of the Moon, and you can't convince me otherwise.
The remastered CVIII bosses were great.
Well you sure an amazing playing and fighting bosses, but how the heck you change the spells without enter on the menu?
Cool!
Dracula wraith plz no
im puke
I just learned that bats MENSTRUATE 😳😂😂😂
the first power of ice... incredible
