I always loved the artistic aspects of this show. The mix of animation styles and occasionally use of puppets and stop motion. The way the fabric patterns are “animated” fascinated me as a little kid. Then there’s all the creativity that went into making these fictional foods and ingredients. Oh a d the 4th wall breaks gave me life. The show doesn’t get enough love 😭
The episode where they ran out of money to animate the show and the whole thing reverted to the voice actors themselves was one of the most hilarious episodes from any cartoon i've ever watched, that is what you call brilliant story telling! i miss this show so much.
My favorite part of this show is when they made the characters faces really simple. I feel like it would be a random scene, and one of them would just have two dots for eyes. 😂
@@SH19922x Stole? I’m pretty sure there have been animations before Pokémon that used basic facial features, like two dots for eyes. Chowder, Courage, and Miss Adventures of Flapjack are absolutely so classical and amazing I also love that all the clothing with patterns are just overlays of the pattern over the screen, its my favorite effect I'm hoping to use when i get more into animation
I love how artistic the world is, both visually and with its own internal logic. It reminds me of an exotic version of Mario world. If we ever get another American mario show, i want this team to do it.

This show is simply one of the best CN produced and released shows during their golden age! I remembered getting up early sunday mornings to watch this 😅 and asking my parents to stay up late during some school nights to watch this and ed edd and eddy! Good Times!😊
Chowder was one of the last shows I truly watched as a kid before I hit that age where I just started doing a lot of dumb shut outside with friends on the daily. Chowder was by far THE BEST cartoon ever in my opinion. It's an S tier show right there with Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Regular Show, Ben 10, Lego Ninjago, and all of the others
Chowder should have had a crossover with Flapjack. IDC how, it doesn't have to make sense but just think about how perfect that would work stylistically.
I never actually watched this shkw growing up but I did watch some episodes. I remember when it first came out. I specifically watched 'Ed Edd n Eddy' and 'Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy'. Great toones

I remember watching chowder on CN it was one of my favorite shows as a kid, i remember the episode where the writers made a gag on one episode where mung was broke because he and chowder were breaking stuff so they had to borrow money then it cut off to the actual cast doing car wash to make enough money to continue the episode 😂
One of my last cartoons to watch as a kid when I started having kids.....yes I had my 1st daughter at 17. 10 years later. I now have 4. Super fun show that my eldest loves
I prefer the puppet segments in the credits over the occasional stop motion segments during the show, the later can be very creepy many times. It’s surprising to see that Mung and Truffles have been together forever. Truffles’ beautiful southern accent reminds me of present day Rouge the Bat. Baron Von Bon Bon is basically a gender swap of Baroness Von Bon Bon from Cuphead.
Chowder. I love this show I didn't grow up but also roughly recall some things like Panini herself so idk mabye I did watch enough to get an impression as a kid. ❤
I remember when my brother and I used to watch it. He would pretend to be Schnitzel and I was Chowder… he was always annoyed of me and I always devoured everything lol

Yes but i say after chowder grew up then more cuz i would like to see that part more
Probably but it could of be turn mediocre because of so much content. Look at how SpongeBob went
seasons, not years
there is a difference

Chowder had some of the most creative sense of humor of any show that CN has had.
Rewatched this show in its entirety recently, extremely underrated show. I’d probably rank it over Flapjack and most other CN shows from that era.
Agreed. While flapjack was extremely entertaining, there was just something about Chowder.
