Thank you for FINALLY switching your light sabre color and coming over to the Dark Side with us N Scalers!! 😂 Cant tell you how happy this made me, one year into the hobby and thanks to you I'm trying my shot at Craftsman kits, kit-bashing, creating concrete from foam board...and getting compliments from some of the greats! It is unbelievable what you and those like you do for us who are new to the hobby. Stay Nsane brother! - Doc

Great to see you delve into N Scale! I model both HO and N, but for the last several years have stuck with N Scale. They've come a long way. Looking forward to your future videos in both HO and N!

Jason, wow, that detail is amazing. I think you have conquered N Scale Kits.
The size is just too small for my fingers and eyes, but I do admire any N Scale layouts I see at Exhibitions, and Shows.
    Cheers, and stay safe, Michael

Thanks for covering n scale! I just started the hobby and purchased some kits from bar mills and I'm afraid to ruin them. My space is limited, so n scale is ideal for me. Thanks for the content, your modeling rips! 🤙

Get one of two of the smaller Bar Mills kits, the Shack Pack would be a good one, it comes with 3 different structures, and use them for practice. Believe me, each one will get better than the last, don't worry about weathering, or super detailing your first few, just worry about getting the thing built to a standard that YOU are happy with. Weathering can always be done later, and do watch Jason's videos, he has tons of good advice.

@@niro017 this is great advice Banjo.... One thing I did as well when I just started my first Craftsman kit last week, is I got some damaged/broken balsa and basswood strips and sheets from Hobby Lobby at a great discount because they agreed they could not sell them(or leftover scraps from your own projects work just them same-never throw anything away!!) And I took these spare/scrap parts and practiced my chipping effect painting/dry brushing/how different stains(water based and alcohol based) worked on them first...so as to not ruin my expensive kit as a novice. This was a wonderful way to get loads of experience without having to buy years worth or 100s of dollars worth of kits. I learned so much by watching Jason and Doug Foscale and Wayman while using scrap bits to perfect the techniques. Try it bro, it will save you a lot of time, money and stress!

Greetings again from New Zealand. I have just ordered the kit and can’t wait to start modelling it alongside your video 😊😊. I will make it rail served and it will either be a woollen mill or a brewery. Will think about that as it travels across the Pacific Ocean.

It's like yesterdays HO video but further away! ;-) I see no reason this wont be as popular as your HO kits. Good luck.

There are only two of us on the production line, so I have to make every second count.

Come on man, we all understand that the majority of time spent on this hobby is waiting on paint or glue to dry ...it's only the true enthusiasts that can sit through a video of someone ELSE waiting on paint to dry. He offers skills/techniques and advice that I myself actually appreciate more than he even knows...and when I apply it to my personal builds it brings joy to those around me. Kinda cheesy sure, but true. One day you may be so good that you make videos like this...ya never know
