About the speaker: Sudha Murty is a name that is as well known in India as it is respected. After all, she has lived a life filled with rich experiences - from being a widely published and deeply respected author to her long, illustrious journey as the chairperson of the Infosys Foundation.
She is a prolific author in Kannada and English who has written 39 books across genres. She is also an advocate for gender equality since her early days with Telco. An electrical engineer. A true philanthropist. A mother. A Padma Shri awardee. And so much more!
In this talk, anchored by Ms Mini Menon, Founder of Live History India, Ms Murty talked about her long career. She also spoke about the importance of a life lived simply, no matter what one's achievements. And she told us why and how she values truth, and how we can all speak the truth, regardless of the circumstances.
