It was one of the best interviews I have ever watched. First of all, they came from middle class families in Karnataka and achieved such huge success both in business and life. I can't think of any other couple in the world, so rich not just financially but spiritually as well. I plan to buy the book to learn more about the beauty of their love and friendship.

Rajdeep, great interview! I wish you did not keep pushing the Murthys over and over about Mr. Murthy missing birthdays/children's occasions. As a married person who works, and a husband whose job is even more hectic, at a particular point in our marriage, we came to the understanding that we needed to divide up our chores. Chores are not only within the house, but outside as well. In the interest of the children, one of us decided to go all out with our career, and the other would go all out and focus more on the children. So, there are many families such as the Murthys and ours, who come from humble beginnings, and do not have the luxury of attending every single birthday! And that is perfectly fine! Our kids grow up knowing that mom or dad is working for the family. And in Mr. Murthy's case, for scores of families!

Seems that Mr and Mrs Murthy are in a damage-control mode. I think while there may have been a backlash, the credibility of Mr Murthy has no way reduced. You both are and always remain legends whether people accept 70hwpw or not.

I very well agree with great Mrs. Sudha Murthy , that My life was also like that , that I always helped my better half & took care of my son without troubling him much( unlessit is badly required his presence) you can do what she says if you hsve a good understanding between you two. We are okay not feeling bad at all,now I 74 years without much Techy, experience. Thanks
