I feel like Nintendo forgot about Super circuit until 2015 because when they talked about the previous Mario kart games in the MK8 direct THEY SKIPPED SUPER CIRCUIT! I feel like Nintendo knew about their mistake and chucked in 2 GBA tracks in as DLC. Also MK7 had SNES rainbow road, MK8 had N64 rainbow road, so MK9 should have GBA rainbow road (it's on everyone's prediction list) and if it doesn't come back in MK9 then it would just be mean... If you read all this, well I'm sorry for wasting your time.
If this track ever returns in the new Mario Kart game revealed in the Switch 2 unveiling, I would definitely want this to be the music I hear when I play it. Not only that, with everyone in the cast getting a redesign based off Super Mario Bros Wonder, instead of Bowser’s Castle from Paper Mario 64 I would replace it with Castle Bowser from said game. He would be shooting fire balls right at the track while flying around it.

Well, SNES Rainbow Road got a few alterations in 7, and N64 Rainbow Road got a massive overhaul in 8, so I could definitely see some changes being made to this.
GBA Rainbow Road is one of my favorite Rainbow Roads, it was flat like SNES but 10x harder, people really forget just how hard this rainbow road can be, there is no guard rail besides at the starting line all the edges are bounce pads so you can't be nooby on this course. And that Long Strip of Boosts is SOOOOO Hard to master. And it has great music. I love the Super Circuit soundtrack, i really love the 16 bit music. the tracks with the best music are Cheese Land, Ribbon Road, Sunset Wilds, Sky Garden, and Rainbow Road, and the Bowser's Castle theme is amazing too. I also like the Circuit theme as well. This game is great thats all i can say. Screw those people who say Mario Kart Super Circuit is the worst. Super Circuit is just as good as the rest, it might be flat graphics but your not getting HD 1080p out of a Gameboy Advance. The tracks in this game are amazing though. My favorite track is Sky Garden. I also hope that they also bring back Sunset Wilds in Mario Kart 9, Sunset wilds is such a good track and i hope they keep the Sunset to Nighttime transition from Lap to Lap in Mario Kart 9 because thats what made this track so cool.
Finally someone who gets it. ;) It's unfortunate that the samples had to be compressed so much to get them to fit on the cartridge. But it's understandable that there wasn't enough room left, because hey, until Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Circuit was the Mario Kart game with the most tracks... but while the samples' quality is low, the compositions are amazing. Perhaps we should use the midis to create better quality versions, but I personally don't have access to good samples. I think BlueJackG recreated some themes, though.
1:00 slaps so dang hard. I hope that if this course were to make it into the booster course pass, it would sound exactly like this, but after seeing their Sky Garden remix, I doubt it.

It's probably the best Rainbow Road theme of all Mario Kart games. :P It wouldn't be super surprising, considering that the game has the best Bowser's Castle theme out of all of them, and the second best credits theme. The original lacks the magical Rainbow Road vibes. It sounds more like a Mario Circuit theme or something. It’s great isolated but compared with something like MKDD’s Rainbow Road or MKWii’s or even MK8’s it doesn’t really sound very “rainbow”-y.
This is what I imagine the song would’ve sounded like if it were in a booster course pass, which sadly never happened. But this is awesome. Another artist I love(TheNobleDemon) did a remaster of this theme, and I think it fits Super Circuit itself better, while still being just as top notch. I love listening to them back to back because it’s two really rad takes on the theme.

Well, they have already planned 300cc for Mario Kart Tour but ended up being scrapped (or at least just goes unused for now) so we can expect it for the next Mario Kart at least
