I am a bit worried however because the tracks do lack the mk8 feel and just look like they got ripped straight from tour. It's sadly noticeable even while racing.

My idea for if the track returns: You would start the race and jump off the ramp, and the first downhill slope would be an anti gravity section. Then, the straightaway with the large dash panels would be replaced with a gliding section with some star rings that you can pass through (like the ones on N64 Rainbow Road’s gliding section). The upward spiral and the second downhill slope would become an anti gravity section (the slope could maybe have an optional gliding section too). The cannon would also become a gliding section. Finally, the rest of the track would proceed like how it does in the original version.
I'd always make my own version in my head, I imagined it with some sort of similarity with this. Mk:DD was my first MK, I appreciate you for remaking this! C:
Everytime you see a shotting star or a meteor,its a player falling from rainbow road. And if you see a shoting star in day..its a lot of players falling from Sky Garden.

This is honestly the best rainbow road remix I have ever heard, taking samples from every major Mario kart game I've played. and sheesh 1:16 was such a perfect moment with the sax kicking in!
