When Hamas shocked the world with the October 7 Massacre, Israel felt embraced as never before. World leaders flew in to bear witness and express solidarity. Parliament buildings lit up in the colors of the Israeli flag. Israelis thought - that’s it, this time the world gets it and will back us as we fight for humanity against Hamas, as we fight to bring the hostages home. That optimism has given way to a sense of betrayal. The knowledge that the world wants to end this war with Hamas on its feet - and undermining Israel’s leverage to get the hostages back. SOLITUDE is Israel’s condition, but must it be its fate?

Well i guess all sorts of stuff is coming out about the palestinians now, like UNWRA, and that they are not refugees, and that the whole idea of keeping them being called refugees has been a scam to get UN charity money from the tax payers or whatever. A Bangladeshi delivery driver here in the UK saw my mezuzah and his smile turned into rage, saw it on the doorbell camera, it was pretty scary. I don't think it's ever wise for Jews to hold out hope of being helped by any muslim countries, i mean look at the Maldives, they just banned Jews from holidaying there. India is an ally to Israel and the Jews, and you all know it too, with their history of being attacked and killed by Islamists, they stand with Israel wholeheartedly, the Hindus and others, not the Muslim Indians, the latter are only 14% of the country though, the Hindus are 79%. I was raised Hindu, my grandma was Indian, what the muslims did over there to the Hindus is not something that can be forgotten. So Israel really has the world's largest population country with them, just waiting to help i'd imagine, in whatever way they can.

The reaction of Fascism to modern liberalism is to a large extent founded on the FEAR OF FREEDOM, which Erich Fromm defined pretty well . . . but perhaps there are other failures of liberalism which we need to recognise and correct, in order to strengthen this hard-won, important, moral movement.
I am seeing the reports of various countries recognizing/supporting the Palestinian state, but what does that really mean? The Palestinians, themselves, have always rejected a separate state.
In recent weeks, Islamic leaders have stated (to the West) that the intention of Islam is to control the entire world. They would prefer to do it "peacefully", i.e. have everyone agree they should have control, but in lieu of that, they are willing to use violence to achieve control.
I am mind-boggled by the number of people chanting the catchphrases that have no basis in reality.
The most remarkable thing in this war is the restraint Israel has shown because it values human life.
They want a state without recognizing Israel as a Jewish state. Since they see it as a step on the way to get rid of Israel. With the aim of taking over it when the time is right and they are strong enough, as they called it in the past: Khudibayya Agreement
But Jesus Christ has the last word.

BHL makes great points. This is not just a war for Israel, this is also a war for the Western way of life. But he is wrong about Hungary, where I live: we do not want our children to die for Ukraine, a country that treats ethnic Hungarians atrociously and about which no-one in the West gives a fig. Hungary does not want to 'return' to Russia, but Hungary also does not want to be run by France, Berlin, Brussels, or Washington. As you know, it is not easy being a small country, but Hungary made National Socialism illegal whereas Ukraine gave them official status within the army. How any Jewish person can fight for the Ukraine is beyond me.
