Lisa this lesson was soooooo FUNtastic! I will be teaching this song to my two ukulele students today! I love the three tempo idea! This song is such a musical oxymoron. The C F and G chords are such bright happy sounding chords. Here's my Good Moon 🌙 rising Lyric! I see a Good Moon rising! It looks so Bright and Good to me! I see my luck is now changing! I feel a new wave of prosperity! I'm dancing in the night! My Soul is feeling Light! My New Blessings are Abound! 😂😂😂🌙🌙🌙💫💫💫🎸🎸🎸🎸💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾 Thank you Lisa for your excellent tutorial 💯💯💯💯💯🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
Love the modified strum. Managed to keep up. Thanks for the 3 versions of speed. It was a great challenge - the singing (mine) - nothing to write home about. Thanks Lisa- a great effort on your part as always.
Great tutorial Yes, I can make it through the whole song. I can use the Modified Island Strum (love it) along with the Island Strum. I really appreciate this tutorial on great songs for advanced beginners. This enables us 1 yr beginners, who are not able to learn Intermediate level songs, to play a good song that really sounds like we can play ukulele.
Great tutorial. Love this song I can manage to only do the intermediate speed. I am working on getting it to go smoother & faster. Oh, and my brother criticises me of the same tiny singing style "flaw" you have. My singing is too white bread. He said that I need to put some grit into it for rock songs like this.
@@TheUkuleleFool Thanks to you, I have been able to put together quite a good playlist of "hip" beginner level songs that I can play now upon having reached one year of practice. 1. "Kansas City" 2. "Bad Moon Rising" 3. "Runaround Sue" 4. "Ghost Riders in the Sky" 5. "You Can't Always Get What You Want" In addition to easy classics like "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" I even learned to play "Ode to Billie Joe" on my own from printing out the lyrics from a music website & inquiring the strum pattern a young woman used on a RUclips video. D. D. U. D U But, I can't get cocky. Because I stumbled into a tutorial for an Intermediate Level song "Ukulele Lady." I realize that is way to difficult for me.
Well Yeah!!! I haven't passed your way in a couple of trips. We should do that when we cruise through Alberta. We missed Albert on our way down and went through the Okanagan.
