Mega Man X6 is the sixth game in the Mega Man X franchise produced by Capcom, and the first not be directed by series creator Keiji Inafune. It was released in 2001 for PlayStation.
Anyway, after all that incident of the previous game with the Eurasian Space Colony, the Maverick Hunters managed to save Earth and destroy Sigma once, but their victory cost a lot: The planet's surface was damaged and polluted to the point of being uninhabitable and humans had to start living their lives underground. Of course, the Maverick Hunters and other Reploids are being sent to the surface in an attempt to rebuild everything and make it habitable again, and remained so for three weeks with no Mavericks threat or anything of the sort. But an influential group of Reploids began to cause conflict, spreading rumors about visions of a mysterious phenomenon called Nightmare, which seemed to be centered on who Zero was. And though dead, Zero was seen by X in a viral form. Gate, the leader of the new organization Reploid sent eight of his investigators to analyze the facts. Yes, the bosses of the game are called investigators. X inherits the lightsaber from Zero and goes on to battle.
Mega Man X6 is a game that really divided opinions: there are people who like this game and have others who hate it. I simply consider MMX6 to be a tenebrous game, extremely badly done, with one of the worst level design that ever existed in a game. The Nightmare Effects system, which causes various effects in the stages, was mainly done for you to pass anger. Did the developers think this would be a good thing? There are also enemies that only come to disrupt and leave blue spheres to be destroyed and they can infect weak reploids, which must be redeemed to add percentage and get some upgrades. As if not enough level design bad enough, the weapons do not have the charisma of previous games and certain situations is difficult or impossible to use them (for example, it is impossible to use the weapon Hyoroga, with Zero, against the boss Rainy Turtloid, fair the one that deals the most damage to this boss). The armor is much more beautiful than the previous games for sure and the soundtrack is very good.
Playing this game at the level Xtreme is a torture, there is no item in the enemies and you need to ration the weapons. Better to play on a lower level. The video was done achieving the best end with X and the end of Zero (being that with it I made a save to play the last stage again) and saving all 128 reploids.

How do you know if you're playing in xtreme mode? In X5 you used to see the difficulty in the pause screen but I can't find it here

The problem is that with the computer I currently have (Core i3, GeForce210, 4gb ram, and Windows 8.1 64-bit) does not allow me to quickly edit and render the videos and so I'm leaving Final Fantasy Tactics to start edit at the end of April.

Não assisti tudo ainda mas umas coisas que deviam ser melhoradas: coletar mais Soul Nightmares (pelo que eu vi no resultado final vc só pegou 868), tirar 600 souls do Dynamo, ser atingido menos vezes...
Bem, eu joguei no Xtreme e ainda critiquei o jogo na descrição, principalmente no que diz respeito ao level design e ao posicionamento dos inimigos, que foram extremamente mal colocados neste game. Mas descobri um hack do Mega Man X6 que foi feito visando deixar o jogo mais jogável e corrigindo muitos erros da versão oficial (como um que não permite usar a fraqueza de Rainy Turtloid com Zero). Futuramente jogarei o hack mostrando também as armaduras Ultimate e Black (que na versão hack podem ser combinadas), verei as souls (que vem em muito maior quantidade) e farei em um nível mais baixo de dificuldade, para que caiam itens dos inimigos. Muito obrigado pelo comentário e pelo pedido.
Espero que não me entenda mal, eu sei que o jogo tem bastante defeito no posicionamento dos inimigos e dos reploids mas... vc ta usando um emulador, poderia usar algum tool-assist pra ficar mais legal de assistir. Todos os walkthroughs/longplays que eu vi desse jogo ou o cara é mestre/usa tool assist e não mostra a história/diálogos, ou o cara é ruim e mostra a história. Não que vc seja ruim, só tem espaço pra melhorar, por exemplo eu tinha certeza que vc sabia como tirar 600 Nightmare Souls do Dynamo. Na verdade eu esperava que vc não fosse perder 1 Nightmare Soul por causa do emulador. Sinceramente eu não acho interesse em hacks...

This game is so terrible and hard. But the grammar error and music make it all worth it. Also, "THE BADDLE HAZ JUSD BEGUNN" and "I'LLSHOWYOUWHATATERRORISALLABOUT!". Easily the best translation error ever.

@@agreedboarart3188 I agree. Although I also agree that the Mega Man X series should have ended in Mega Man X5, just as Keiji Inafune intended to. Just in case you didn't know, yes, Keiji Inafune wanted Mega Man X5 to be the last chapter in the series as he wanted to work in a new proyect in Mega Man universe which would become the Mega Man Zero series, where Zero would revive a century after the events of the X series... Buuut, CAPCOM was like "Don't even think we're gonna put an end to the series", they wanted to keep gaining money from the X series so bad, so without consulting anything to Keiji Inafune they continued with the series and revived Zero without any better explanation
