I am following all those steps, but the printer is still not appearing in the list after MANY MANY tries.
Both on computer, and smartphone. Somehow they both are connected to my WIFI with no problem.
So, I have ordered a USB cable, because of course I need a special one, but even if it works in the end, it would be way simpler if it worked with WIFI, but for some reason it doesn't.

My Printer is not connecting to the router. It says it is "picking the previous SSID" information. any thoughts? how to reset the SSID information?

Correct. You can also leave the paper hanging in the paper trey altho it takes more space on a desk.
