    • @AbbyBReviewing

      Hi there! The ink is relatively long lasting for a printer at this price range, one cartridge generally lasts me a few months with daily use. And I haven't tried to 2-sided print however, I've reviewed the manual and don't see 2-sided printing listed as a function so I dont believe it can do that.

      2) Turn on your printer & make sure its connected to your computer via wirless or a cord connection.
      3) Place the document you want to scan in the printers scanner and make sure its lined up to the arrow on the top left then close.

    Folks, PLEASE think about what I am saying. As happy and bubbly as this wonderful presenter is NOW about her new printer, when she realizes that she will be THROWING AWAY INK that is still likely half-full because only one color or the BLACK ink has gotten too low, she might start regretting things. Most folks use a home printer for BLACK TEXT, not as many for photos that use all the colors! THINK about it!
    NEVER purchase a printer with a SINGLE, ALL COLORS INCLUDED CARTRIDGE. This is sort of what kinda killed the Lexmart printer years back. The printer was good, but it only had that ONE COLOR CARTRIDGE. So, ALWAYS get a printer with the three, four or sometimes FIVE individual cartdriges for each color. Three is good, four (usually a different cyan/blue) is a bit better, but FIVE? FIVE (usually a lite pink) IS GREAT! lol But if you are not going to be printing much in the way of photos, just go with the three-color and one black. Regarding black, get a printer that takes the BIG black cartdrige.

    • @AbbyBReviewing
      @AbbyBReviewing  3 года назад +4

      I am not sure what you mean about throwing out a half full cartridge, the printer still runs when one ink cartridge is low... And if most people use only black ink, it would make more sense to recommend a more affordable one cartridge black ink monochrome printer, instead of suggesting an expensive multiple cartridge colour printer.

    • @michelj.gaudet5048
      @michelj.gaudet5048 3 года назад

      @@AbbyBReviewing I was commenting in a GENERAL manner how when ONE OF THE COLORS runs out, there is often PLENTY of ink of the other two or three colors in that ONE cartridge you are throwing away... VERY wasteful.
      ALWAYS spend your money on printers that feature separate color ink cartridges. This way, you only spend money on ink you need.✨🤗✨

    • @dearrawarden6343
      @dearrawarden6343 3 года назад

      @@michelj.gaudet5048 so where do we purchase that?

    • @michelj.gaudet5048
      @michelj.gaudet5048 3 года назад

      @@dearrawarden6343 Well, EVERY major printer company has a few, but stay away from some of the printers that 'feature' ink carts with the chips that automatically TURN OFF the ink flow after a certain criterion is met, such as the TIME or the AMOUNT OF PAGES PRINTED. I think THAT feature has fallen out of favor for the most part, as folks realizing this decided to use a diferent printer. Also, there are quite a few folks that will sell you modified or AFTER MARKET CARTRIDGES with the needed 'chip' of the cartridge either removed or modified.
      Before TANK printers became available, most of us just used refillable ink cartridges, making sure the printer being bought did NOT require the SPECIAL crtridges with the dang 'chips'. OR, we just found a CIS that fit our printer model. CIS (Continuous Ink System) is a system that has TANKS outside of the printer that you keep an eye on and re-fill as they get low. Not every printer can use a CIS set-up, so if that sounds good for you, make sure your printer can use one first.
      I just purchased one of the CANON printers that features TANKS that you re-fill when needed. The tanks are BUILT IN. CANON and EPSON have several of these TANK models and BOY-HOWDY do they save on the ink cost! They can be a bit pricey though, which makes up for the loss of ink revenue.
      Rather than asking everybody regarding the above, just do a search for TANK PRINTERS or such, or SEPERATE COLR PRINTERS... something like that.
      Good luck!✨🤗✨
