    So much judgement from people about what to eat, how to live, how to lose weight.!!!!😬.
    You do exactly you Carla- and what great progress so far.❤ I am very like you in the weight loss and regain cycle this last few years, lost 4 stone gained over 3 stone back. I am now back to it due to mobility pain confidence and menopause ....54 this year, got to finally do this for my health xx

    Great that you’re still feeling motivated and the weight is coming off. Nice for both you and Tammy that you’re both on the same‘journey’. I think cutting down on the bread type stuff is a good idea. Definitely a weakness of mine too and I feel the benefit when I lower the amount I have.

    Well done Carla, I’m sorry you were a little disappointed but you know the score and how difficult our bodies can be. When I was menopausal but still hormonal I used to have one week a month when I didn’t/couldn’t lose a thing no matter what I did.

    Carla your doing brilliantly an a loss is a loss i look forward to your chats everyweek an im calorie counting again too an do you find it easier that you have someone doing it with you this time around as it can keep you motivated I'm doing it with my daughter an every week we weigh together an we're supporting each other an its making it fun in a way so we're with you too xxx

    Well done Carla, and Tammy too! I think getting started can be one of the most difficult bits when deciding to lose weight. Sometimes I get de-railed, and I often think of it like a train changing points and getting on the right track again... and once you get going, the going gets a bit smoother. Keep on keeping on :)

    You are an inspiration Carla! I love following you in your journey of losing weight. I’m staying off the carbs as well. Could really relate to your comments with scones and cream and hot cross buns!! Looking at a knee replacement so trying to take a little weight off it!

    I've watched lots of videos since discovering your channel, and I really enjoy them, but, it seems that all of your social interactions involve food and there are ways to see and enjoy being with friends that doesn't involve eating and food.

    Congratulations 🥳 I wanted to reach out about taking vitamins, you may well take them already I mainly started when I was diagnosed with MS & wanted to try & stay as healthy as possible. I have very dodgy knees too and I didn’t take my huge amount of vitamins for a few days and could really feel the pain right in my knees and it hurt so I went back to popping my pills and thank goodness that pain & discomfort has gone (touch wood). So I wanted to share with you it might help I have strong does of cod liver oil, turmeric, primrose oil, starflower, neurovitamins, vitamin a, vitamin e, garlic & the list does go on, not cheap but I believe it’s kept me well & definitely helps my joints.     That chicken & rice bag for £1.00 from Iceland.. I now use it instead of normal rice, with a small portion of mayflower curry that I batch cook & freeze (just defrost a portion the night before & reheat on the hob!), I throw in veggies in the curry, lots of chicken for protein (chunky peppers like they do at a Chinese, chunky onions, mushrooms & a few handfuls of peas!), it’s divine! And cheaper than buying micro rice. I do make my own rice in a rice cooker but when you live on your own & your disabled.. I just can’t be bothered, saves me additional pain and standing to wash up (no dishwasher in this house, sadly!)
    When my dad visits that’s when I tend to get my rice cooker out!
    Can’t complain for £1! Don’t be scared to bulk it out!
    1/2lb is still 1/2lb, all in the right direction, & remember, as women our bodies do fluctuate weekly, if you’re feeling hormone that’s probably why you aren’t seeing what you’d like to see on the scale, wait until next week, it all catches up!

    The thing I try to remember is that ‘your body’ doesn’t realise you weigh in ‘every week’…….so, the scales could show a bigger loss than expected next week. Our bodies have many ups and downs over a longer period than a week. You’re doing brilliantly x

    Everyone I know with arthritis has been suffering badly these last few weeks. According to the chiropractor I've been seeing for my neck research has shown that damp conditions are far more challenging than cold ... and we've had so much rain for so long! Always suspected that about 'empty' carbs - if I start eating extras eg having a piece of cake when I go out for a coffee I seem to pile on a disproportionate amount of weight. I've found a supplement of Vitamin B6 is good for getting rid of excess fluid. I don't take it regularly but tend to take it for a couple of weeks at a time at 100 mg a day. Well done this week.
