I remember when I was 7 (2012) when I my classmates were talking about Minecraft so I asked my mom to buy it she did and I played that game so much I'm 13 now.
I was 8 when minecraft came out and it was the first game I had ever bought on my computer. My oldest sister got it first and I played it on her old block of a desktop. I remember the vanilla days where food didnt stack, there was no hunger, armor worked wayyy differently, and just so other many nostalgic things that made minecraft so great. It was in 1.3 when I had first bought it for myself which was around 2011? All the fun shit I would do with my middle school buddies, all the griefing, all the random stuff we built, the many deaths we had, the lost friendships irl because someone stole someones stuff, all the mods I downloaded from shady sites, all the servers I would play on for hours without a care in the world. But I digress. I havent touched that game since I was a freshman in highschool and I am now a senior in high school who has just been accepted to three of the colleges I've applied to and I graduate in less than 4 months. Anytime I boot up my computer, I see the little dirt block in the corner of my screen and I remember all the memories I shared in that infinite world of 64 bit graphic blocks.

I literally had no idea what Minecraft was until my friend told me in Year 7 in 2012 (11 years old). I was on it every morning before school till half way through year 8. 18 Now and coming back to it

Depends on what part of Denmark the individual comes from. The Copenhagen accent can for example be very rough and aggressive

Aside from the asmr, I never really payed attention or learnt anywhere about the mechanics of water physics in minecraft, I’ve always noticed that water doesn’t consistently spread out, but never really thought of the mechanics behind it, wonder if the water physics now in 1.16 are the same as they are here
In 1.16 I think some of the water mechanics are definitely changed because of the vast amount of updates brought to the game. In previous updates like the aquatic update for example water can fit inside blocks that have smaller hitboxes such as stairs or fences instead of leaving air. There were also some changes to how water flows, swimming mechanics and minor bug fixes.

Definitely, minecraft is still good but tbh when it was fresh and really in development it was much better, captivating even.

I actually built the water house in 1.16 it works but the water is really fragile so its more vanity than useful
Tips:
Put any floor block you want between the drain holes because its very hard to replace the dirt when you’re done with the water
I think its impossible for clean corners in 1.16 but I might just be dumb
The interior of the water house at ground level the water will flow I don’t know how to fix this but its not a big problem
I would suggest after you done the house and want to experiment you should create a copy of the world and experiment with the house
