G'Day from Australia. I tuned into your You Tube as I am of Welsh descent and some of my Ancestry DNA relatives emigrated from South Wales to Malad in the second half of the 1800s as Mormons. Hello to any of my REES family there! I didn't see a Rees name on any signs but I did see the Welsh names of Evans and Thomas. I didn't see any people walking around, perhaps it was too cold, but those snow- covered mountains were beautiful.
Hello and Welcome! Malad is old and you never see people walking around but our mountains here in Utah are AMAZING! If you get a chance take a look at our Logan Canyon Tour , I also have a BigFoot short video for the same area. We also have 3 great videos of Snowbird Ski Resort in the high Wasatch Mountains with Tram views if interested.
There's a hamburger joint across the street from that bbq place, just west of Chevron. And the gas station across from Chevron has tasty hot snacks if in a hurry, including of course pull tabs,,scratchers, lotto cards off the wheel.Tnxs for the footage.Off topic, the Pizza Pie Cafe in Pocatello on pole creek road is the biggest of them all.Excellant buffet.
You need to get an old timer to take you around Malad it's a lot more interesting with stories. And Malad consistently has three of the top five lottery sellers in the state.

My uncle owns Spiro's House of BBQ! I hope you tried it. It is top notch
We did, it was so good!
My grandpa (Big Jack Evans) was the sheriff there years ago. I ❤ Malad!
That big building used to be Sears , one of the first one in the whole USA
Malad has changed
A lot
Evans coop still there
I am olde. Convert the empty bank bldg into senior living apartments and I am in. I will move from liberal leaning Boise!

no that gas station is not our main grocery store there is actual grocery store with everything you need just down the street.
I figured there was a nice little grocery store but when your new to the area you kinda just guess.
@@Matrix7Adventures Yeah they do a good pretty good job stocking it up and it is nice that I don't have to go all the way Pocatello to get groceries.
Pizza stop has some great pizza too 💖💘 yes I’m late also dude ranch is always closed 😑
Nah. The Dude Ranch is open sometimes. Just to screw with everybody. And sad to say it still serves the best food in town.
