God. This is so heartbreaking to see the amount of money which is need to be in FIT.
If you will apply for association course 1yr or 2yr depends on you it will not be that expensive 🙂
really nit worth it for an associates degree which has virtually no value. This exchange programme has zero return on investment! 🤣

I have friends who have an associate degree in fashion from FIT, trust me they had to come back to India. It's your education, skills, and where you come from matters a lot.
The Actual Cost Of A Bachelor's Degree Is Around $74,000 USD Because You Get Your Associate's Degree First Before Your Bachelor's.
To be an middle class person it is impossible to study in fit just like a dream

@@ankita_ekka well I drew everyday and I watched all the videos of shivangi, piyush katiyar and vogue and vibes, then I made a pinterest board for NIFT Inspo, basically just think very different and creative and believe in yourself! I also made something everyday upto my situation test right after my cat and get! Hope I could be of help!

Actually I have heard it's very difficult to do part time job and fashion designing course . If you want to do it you need to be very punctual.

Hey. This video was really helpful. I am planning to apply for the 2+2 associates and bachelor's program in fashion design. I just wanted to know that is it possible for the students to work part-time post the college hours? Can you also mention college hours roughly?
what i know is that other than the student visa you'll need a US working visa if you want to work part time . College hours really depend, you could start at 9am and you'll have a 3hour class and then a big break in between and end at 9pm, or you could have consecutive classes and finish early...it depends.

Wow. I have the exact same question. Was always interested in fashion but literally no one else in my family was. And I live in Kota, Raj so got roped into studying engineering (that I Hate with a passion). It feels so hopeless at this point.

Is the curriculum same at that of Nift of the 3rd year? If a student of fashion design department joins Fit, then does the work or studies of the 3rd year which is to be taught in 3rd year at Nift get affected?
Nope! You learn whatever they teach you at FIT and get graded there.

Hi, you can stay on campus for the first semester to get a hang of the city and the life. Then probably you could move off campus.
Does this cost the same when you are applying via NIFT associate programme
omaryan sengar Yes. And if I am not wrong, you also have to pay for the two semesters in India. In my case, since we were the first batch, we didn’t pay the extra tuition for NIFT for the third year.

Hey Riya, My name Is shivangi dave. From mumbai. I had taken that course from NIFT. A year program, I personally suggest you not to go for this course. They teach you just basics. You are kind of left off with so many important things. No ethnic development is been taught. And the money is spent more than the course deserves.
