That's cool! After building this guy, the difference between a regular plastic model and resin kits seems overexxagerated to me, it's not difficult just quite different really.

I’ve made 2 resin kits and I’m preparing the 3rd kit so I can assemble it and paint it. My first 2 weren’t the best. I’ve done 12 years worth of gunpla and zoids ect plastic model kits. 2 of them are from the five star stories line and one is from the super robot wars, 2 are fixed posed and the 3rd one is posable.
made 3 completed kits and the 4th one is getting panted and the other 4 are also going to be built and panted 3 have arrived for charismas and I've ordered the 8th kit. 4 b-club gundam kits, 1 kotobukyia super robot wars kit and 2 volks kits and 1 recast

Hello.. which is durable? Resin conversation or Gundpla plastic? I just want my kits to last long and don't crack after years, thanks in advance
Both Gunpla resin kits and plastic kits are durable materials. I have never heard of any model just cracking after years unless of course it fell or got roughly played with, but if just displayed, I don’t see any reason as to why it will crack?
In terms of long-term durability, both materials should last for years with proper storage and maintenance. And of course how the model is handled and maintained over time also plays a factor.
So resin kit comes with its own inner frame?
A full resin kit does. A conversion kit doesn't.

I would like to have a gundam even if it is unpainted, I know how to paint, but I don't have the tools and resin, maybe you can help me have it, I don't have a budget but it's my dream to have

I just want to say that they have a RIDICULOUS hyuki shiki that’s a full kit (with frame) and the pre order is only 33 dollars. So if anyone wants to get into resin it’s definitely a good deal. Although it might take a couple months to get it....

I have the AC studio MK2. And was considering getting this kit too. Damn there are so many parts! The very bright colors they used for their promo pictures is a turn off me. i like canon colors but the colors they've chosen is too pure. Anyway, that's just my gripe. The details and design otherwise look great. Thanks for the guide. I've got some time under my belt working with resin kits, but it never hurts to go through the basics again.
Thank you! I also prefer darker shades so when I get the time to resume work on this kit, I might go for something darker or at least tone down the bright colors 😄
Oh my word, why would you glue it before painting, let alone priming
Why not? 🤣 I only glued the pieces that are all the same color, so only the guns and a few small parts on the shield are glued, which I think is totally fine cause I can always do masking or handpainting, but I’d love to know what you would do differently, it’s always nice to learn how others build and customize! 😁
