Hello from France ! I Just found your Channel, and so far i watch several of your videos... and i have to say that you are very talented, i really like the way this little pocket turn out ! +1 Subscriber ;) Cheers
@@samaker4 Thanks for response. Can this material only be sewn with an industrial type machine, and is that thicker cotton thread? What is the thread called
Very nice. The only thing I have a question about is did you use the standard needle for all of it? I've snapped a few needles before and hesitate on project like this one because I worry about putting such thick materials through my machine? Or did you use a slower setting or technique?
I guess the walking foot makes most of the difference for such fabric, but some people say domestic machines can sew a couple layers of nylon webbing. BTW, what brand and model is yours?
The video was sped up too much and I couldn't see details of what was being done; especially on the rain cover, which is why I watched it in the first place. I won't thumb the video down though. How should I put this, I didn't "not like it" enough to do that. Sorry for the double negative, but it was the best way I could say it.
This is exactly what I was looking for, I wish I had a sewing machine so I wouldn't have to do everything myself by hand but it is what it is thanks!
That was awesome, Hugo! I especially love the patch on the flap
Thanks.
Hey Hugo, that was pretty cool! Well done on the edit and explanations. Those pouches look like they will last a long time.
Thanks, I hope so :)

I have an industrial walking foot sewing machine. Honestly I believe It will go through bone and not break a needle :)

Awesome video. 1:44 Do you switch the reverse this way?
Yes, I jerry rigged my machine that allows me to reverse the stitching by stepping on the stirrup.
Very cool and useful idea. It's like having a third hand. :) Could you do a video and show how it works? If it's not a secret of course.
It is not a secret, but it is very specific to my machine. DM me on my Instagram channel: sa_maker and I'll send you a video explaining it.
Awsome hack ! Why isn't every sewing machine manufactured with that feature?
what kind of sewing machine do you use?
It is a Highlead walking foot industrial sewing machine.
I need to make my own cz scorpion mag pouches because dang they are way over priced
Nice 👍🏻 my friend.
Thanks!
Thanks!! Subscribing!!
Thanks, I'm glad you like it!

Hi Arizona, thanks for your input, I'll keep that in mind for my next video. Did you come right with your rain cover?
