    I Love this! I transitioned during this time of year (5 years ago) and wearing cute winter hats helped me get through the tough times. It helped so much.
    I love your dinner table tip! ❤️ Thank you for sharing such great info and you look GORGEOUS with your hat!!

    Hey I’m at that stage in your second picture with the fringe. I too have my silver roots but a brassy fringe and I honestly think it will look loads better even the fringe is silt. At least I can tie it back then and it won’t look so bad ❤ps the hat looks great!!

    I am just about to start my grey journey. My hair is short, dark brown died for many years. I was a professional musician and I have now retired from performing….sooo I am no longer worried about being on stage with grow out.
    Your encouragement is very important and I’m glad I found you. My approach I think right now is to grin and bear grow out and keep cutting. I’m thinking to discuss with my stylist grey blending but not sure about it.

    My grey hair grow out started over the summer and because even at age 66, my hair still grows pretty quick, so I definitely have a noticeable difference. My hair is super long, past my waist and is healthy, and pretty still as an Ole girl lol. I cut my own hair and I've been trimming the ends about every 2 weeks. I'm sure eventually I'll take some length off even though I'm somewhat emotionally attached to my hair because of events and memories with my Mother. She passed in 2007 and that's how long I've been letting it grow, and it got long quickly. Anyway, the reasons I watch you Amanda is because you are so genuine, joyful and full of life and great information. I watch every video to the end because I don't want to miss anything 😊 God's Blessings to you 🙏

      You are the sweetest!! Wow!! Your hair is long!! We really do get emotionally attached to our hair and especially after a lose. My dad has been gone for just a little over a year now and my mom is very set about not changing a few things in the house and gets very emotional about it. You have been a HUGE support on here!! Thx you for watching till the end!!

      I do and it's strange that something so simple gives that kind of feeling. I ponder on that from time to time and I don't have an answer as to why.

    I just found your channel. I’m 2 months into transitioning to no hair color. I figured it would be easier to do while most of my hair still has quite a bit of natural color in my hair.

    I really like the table setting. Very cute. I do buy items at Goodwill from time to time.

    Thanks for video! Just found your channel. I’m brunette color every 4 weeks. Always thought I would go grey after retirement next year but I’m ready! Wish I could wear a hat to work but I can’t. I’m very nervous and don’t know how to start as I hate the skunk strip!!

    • @amandasilversister
      @amandasilversister  9 месяцев назад

      some people do something call the stripe method which you might like... they keep dyeing just the top and let the underneath start to grow... I lightened my hair to make my process easier as mine was quite dark too! Would you believe I miss the grow out now... being that publicly vulnerable really helps you grow and become more confident!!

    My only wish is that my hair would go completely grey(actually white). I’m 66 and the grey has progressed very slowly since my mid-20s to about 40-50% now and it looks bad. One white streak on top in the front and the rest scattered through my black curly hair. I haven’t dyed it in almost 15 years, but I am tempted. I hate how it looks.

    • @amandasilversister
      @amandasilversister  10 месяцев назад

      Oh no!! I would love to see it!! It sounds very unique to me!!! I have always wanted a money piece….( that streak you mentioned))

    I’m a year in and have gone cold turkey. The first couple of month were difficult but after that the roots didn’t look like roots anymore so it became easier. I think I will actually miss the grow out stage when it’s complete. I keep getting regular cuts so more of the colour gets cut out. I’m guessing that I have another 6 months left until I’m fully transitioned. Hang in there ladies! xx

    Great advice!! My last dye was 10/27/23 and I’ve been rocking hats for months!! Does anyone know of any products to protect the white hair in the sun? I’m aware of wearing hats etc. in the sun, but is there anything else?
