Air India’s Boeing 777-300ER VT-ALN Landing on Runway 14 at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM/VABB).
Stunning views as the approach to Runway 14 begins over water, north of Versova and continues over the dense suburbs of Andheri, Lokhandwala and Vile Parle.
Shot during the Cyclone Tauktae, the strong crosswinds and dark skies give the ILS 14 approach a very dramatic effect.

Thank for sharing such a beautiful 😍 landing on the rarest runway 14, maybe first time someone has recorded landing on this runway. Also the view of the suburbs from Andheri and beyond looks fantastic, the mini Hong Kong vibes. 👌. I have myself landed several times in Mumbai on runway 27 and stay at Andheri ,still I got confused about the area on the approach to Mumbai.

I have felt that the landing on runway 14 can be hairy at times, if you are a bit high and hot. With all the high-rises in the Andheri area, it feels like the good old KaiTak airport of HKG , minus that steep right turn.

Nice! A pity to learn that only during those rare landings on 14 is when one can spot the airport sign and the Shivaji statue along Western Express Highway. So unfortunate that most Mumbai landings happen on 27. Also interesting to note that they built a walkway by the railway tracks in order to connect Andheri Station (East) to the area around that Kaledonia commercial building as seen at 3:30.

Exactly my thoughts. Runway 27 landings in Mumbai are the ugliest during the final approach. Thanks for explaining, I was wondering which runway landing is this , never seen this before. Though I have landed in Mumbai several times and stay at Andheri East, still got confused about the area. 😂
