Hi Keryy. I researched your pen and it is indeed very special. It is a WANCHER Limited Edition Sailor Original Professional Gear Transparent Mocha Brown and is priced accordingly higher in Japan than their standard Pro Gear models. It is manufactured for domestic consumption. You are very fortunate to have one and it is beautiful.
Sailor and Pilot are my favorite Japanese FP brands, although I have some Platinums, too. The Japanese make quality products, which is why I've also got a Toyota Corolla.
Thanks, Kerry. Love that pen. That brown is very attractive and that the pen is also semi translucent makes it even more attractive and I think your ink pairing was spot on. My favorite pens are from the big 3 Japanese manufacturers. I have a Pro Gear Slim that I purchased in Japan with a medium grind and it is a spectacular writer. I have been told that the Sailor nibs that are targeted for Japanese consumers are a tad softer than those that are targeted for overseas consumers. The nib on my pen is marked 'Medium' and not 'Hard Medium' . Honestly I can not really feel the difference but then again I never attempt to flex a nib that isn't a real flex nib. Thanks for sharing your lovely pen with us.
Same for me. The Classic fits my hand better than the Slim which is a bummer bc it’s seems I come across the Slim more in colours I like. A Pro Gear is definitely on my grail list.
I really like Sailor and Pilot pens. I possess two Sailor pens, a Sailor Pro Gear Demonstrator, and a KOP in black. Both are great pens, I like the nib of the KOP a little more because it is a little bit larger and I get a better feeling when I write. The Pro Gear is more on the dry side, maybe I will send the nib for tuning. Summa Summarum they are great pens I do not want to miss them!!
I have been trying to find your original video about this pen and I just can't find it. I did a search on your channel. Are you able to send a link somehow because I am really interesting in this pen and wanted to find the original video. thanks
This is a special request, and you probably won't go through with it, but . . . I would love it if just once, out of nowhere, you replaced all of the other names on the thank-you list with Luna-Wolf Games and just said that thirty times.

The Sailor which appeals to me is the Mini. But this is a handsome fellow!
That Amber ProGear is so nice. It still comes off as professional, but is also fun.
Of course I'm still watching this far in! Thank you!

My nephew got me a version of this pen. It's a fantastic writer. Superb.
Gorgeous! It reminds me of my Pelikan Smoky Quartz. I’ve never been a fan of Sailor Pro Gear, returned them as well.
Ok that ink and pen looks awesome. I am a huge orange ink fan. I have not tried a sailor yet. Might need to change that in the next few months.
Thanks for doing this review!!

I am imagining this pen with Kopi O Kaw from Pengallery. Dark rich brown almost black.
You would be well matched with Drew Brown from Goulet
Hello, i hope you are save and well...
The only pen better than the Pro Gear is the KOP.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It look nice but Sailor.... well good luck.
Why reviewing a pen that's tuned by someone we want factory fresh stuff
I’m looking to purchase a used sailor and I’m not sure if it will be properly calibrated. Where do you go to have that done?
