Nice editing job to go from Monte Hale and Paul Hurst to the Durango Kid. Both segments came from two different westerns, two different studies, but both were shot at the Inverson Ranch location.
What a great editing job. Reminds me of "What's Up Tiger Lily" by Woody Allen. I still enjoy these senseless things sometimes, especially the old Duke stuff from Lone Star. However, I never understood who decided that a bunch of 8 year old kids wanted to hear some saddle sore canary warble some inane song right in the middle of the action. I also couldn't understand why some guy would jump on a horse and chase a car which meant that I wasn't too fond of Gene and Roy! Bob Steele, George O'brien and JM Brown were more to my liking. Thanks for an entertaining hour of fun!
Dunno if anyone gives a damn but if you're bored like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all of the new movies on Instaflixxer. I've been streaming with my girlfriend for the last weeks :)
This is actually a movie called "Meanwhile Back at the Ranch". It is taken from all public domain copies of B Westerns...woven into the main storyline of the Ken Maynard serial Mystery Mountain. Thats the major reason for the lack of poor quality. And thats why the continuity doesnt make much sense sometimes. But it is a great homage to the B's
I purchased the movie on Amazon for 10 bucks and the resolution is far better and you can choose to see the name of the movie the clip was copied from. This movie was given a special showing at Cannes in 1976 but because of legal/financial reasons, it was not released then.
Thanks for the effort on this one...100 and more of my b-western pals from better days past all in one movie...or so it appears.
Great job Jerry!!

Great to see gabby without a beard
Hilarious montage!

Excellent editing, would be a classic with decent picture quality.
