Thank you for another very information rich and exhaustive review. I have this particular limited color unit more than 3 years and I must say that I love it more and more. What I like the most on it is the high wearability and it's magical trick that the green is fading black out of direct sun light which makes the watch timeless compared to other color variants. It will definitely never leave my collection!

Holy crap that looks awesome!! Ever since these came out (the regular ones) i fell in love in the looks, but the colors didn't impress me that much, UNTIL i saw this one!! It somehow went under my radar....
I am really considering of getting one

I love this watch, mine came with a misaligned bezel insert. Being a pro SKX modder, I took my pry tool, went to the 6 o'clock found the notch between the bezel and case, put a polish cloth pried it off, moved to the 5 o'clock lug, kept on prying it off, knowing that the click spring locations are at 7 and 1 o'clock so I won't damage it (the click spring is not like an SKX so if you snap or break it you're SOL), Anyways bezel came off. Took a flathead and slowly pried off the insert, took alcohol + cotton swabs to clean off the adhesive residue. Took a case press tool, and put the bezel back on, looked for a spot with 0 backplay, put 2 dots of E6000 glue (using a toothpick) on the bezel contact surface for the insert, made sure the triangle was aligned with the 12 o'clock marker, FIXED. Ordered some Namoki bezel inserts, steel one makes it look like an SPB185 without having to buy it, got a coke SKX bezel for nostalgia, a ceramic green bezel for a hulk-esque look and a vintage black sub bezel with a red triangle just because, it looks good. I never got tired of this watch, I can switch it to something new with insert swaps, the silicone strap or some tropical ones, this watch is too versatile and the perfect size since not many can wear an MM300.
TL;DR great watch, bang per buck, and will be a good modding platform in the future since the SKX is done. SKX aftermarket bezels don't fit, but Namoki might consider engineering ones for the SPB185/187/207 in the future. If you have movement issues just take a bergeon case opener ball and regulate it yourself on a timegrapher. Keeper watch so underrated. #seikopath

The watch is incredibly well made, the polishing is perfect, the combination of colors just screams Jaguar F Type R.. Might as well search for one to assort the watch

Great video. I would love you to review some of the Orient Star, divers and casual, dressy or sporty.

@@AverageBros no worries, with all the seiko diver's that look very similar to one another I just wanted to make sure this wasn't a new model that looked like an older one!!

Hey man been long time sub. I think you need to cut out the dive watch intro as you really seem to gloss over those lines and speak faster than usual specifically when the “key common characteristics” bit

    Should've been a bit smaller

Definitely not. The watch looks and wear much smaller than regular 42 mm diver. Must see it in person.
