It's a bit underrated just because it is a remake of that old show, but I also find it amazing and cast is so adorable 😊

@@realisticguy569 it's based off the book more than the old series though. I think some things are actually closer to the novels in the new series. I think that's what they meant but yes, I agree that the cast is adorable!
Shows that are intense and creative are often underrated.

Thankfully I"m watching this AFTER the season had started already... LOL. I'm surprised they aren't better trained on this.
I do like how they refer to Michael as Michael Guerin when they are talking about his character. It must be so strange for him to share the same first name as the character he plays.
Michael and Liz scenes are THE BEST! I want to hear her call him Mikey again please thank you. Love how Jeanie Mason agrees to my hearts deepest desire

I have read that Jeanine Mason actually does speak Spanish. So why the flock can't she pronounce Ortecho correctly. She (and everyone else actually) pronunces it like it was Orteco.
She is hispanic.
Don't get me wrong, but most English speakers - especially Americans - don't give a sh*t about how names in other languages are pronounced. Even if they hear it umpteen times, they simply pronounce it 'English' and that's it. So the 'rest of the world' has to adapt, since English has been chosen as the official world language and not Chinese or Spanish, which far more people speak. In order to appear as 'native' or legal as possible and not to attract attention, they Englishize it.
@@appletinitwoappletinis7249 You should not try to speak for other English speakers when giving your personal opinions. Although it's rather amusing coming from someone who doesn't really know his own language. The word you're looking for is "Anglicize" not "Englishize."
That's why I used the word 'most'. Because in at least 95% of the cases I face, that's exactly what happens. Just wanted to explain how the pronunciation of the name might have come about. Since I know such a case myself.

There should must be an episode in which the old actors appear by a portal from another universe. So we could know what happened with their characters across all these years, making better the ugly open final of the original show
