Speaking of not getting preauthorization for being shot in the chest... I went into the ER this past summer with a headache, nausea, dizziness, etc. And the CT and MRI showed a large growth in my brain that was getting bigger and could've popped at any moment (killing me), so opted for immediate brain surgery... and my insurance company denied the claim because I didn't get preauthorization.... I'm still fighting that, because they're also trying to say the hospital stay wasn't necessary.... AFTER EMERGENCY BRAIN SURGERY!!!!! F big insurance companies.
