- The new custom charter boat build is moving right along! We have been working on it everyday that we are not out fishing or working on our current boat. We just took delivery of our new 160 gallon heavy duty aluminum fuel cell. We have also recently completed building the console and seat base. We put them in the boat temporarily just to double check all of our measurements. And will hopefully be permanently installing the fuel tank soon. Hope you enjoy the video! Thanks for watching!!!

Awesome day Captain! Thank you for a great fishing trip. The entire family loved our time together and we cannot wait to see you soon.

Glad you enjoyed the progress report on the new boat, she's coming right along. I wish I had more time to work on the boat, but it's been a busy year running charters and keeping our current boat in top form. As always I truly appreciate you watching our vids, and the encouragement! Looking forward to fishing with you guy's soon!
Can't wait to take a ride in the new boat one day!
Me too! I'm so ready to get her in the water! It's been the most challenging thing I've ever built. Its going to be so much more comfortable for everyone, and will allow us to fish much farther offshore. Looking forward to fishing with you guys in the new boat! Thanks for watching, and commenting.
I wish I could be there and help build this thing! I know its already complted to some point I watched the first wet test and she is amazing!!!!
Yep, the first ride in a new boat is pretty awesome! Thanks for watching!
This is pretty awesome your building your own boat. I would love to have a skill like that thats awesome dude
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video. I grew up in a fishing and boatbuilding family, my father Richard passed down so much knowledge to me and my brother Mark. He Started by building small wooden skiffs as a boy, then larger fiberglass boats starting in 1968. I can say for sure that he taught me everything i know! I will try to keep posting some more vids on the boats progress, hopefully she will be ready next season. Tight lines!
Coming right along!! Looks great!!
Yep, pretty exciting to have the console, seat, and fuel tank built. We will be permanently installing the fuel tank soon. i will try to keep the progress reports coming. Thanks for watching!
Nice. I don't know if you said how many gallons that tank will hold. It looks awesome. Too bad it will be covered up.
Thanks, it's 160 gallons and made out of .190 thickness marine grade aluminum. That should give me a 400 mile range at cruising speed. The Kenner holds 97 gallons, and has a range of 300 miles. Yep, once its installed you would have to look hard to even get a glimpse of it, but it sure is a important part of the boat. I appreciate you watching, and commenting! Tight lines.
Come along way in a month, especially since you’re still running fishing charters
Yep, Pretty happy with the progress. Thanks for all your help!
I really want’s to see all the boat bil😢
I have 25 episodes in the 29 ft boat build series. From spraying gelcoat in the mold to a top speed run and walk through here on the channel. I hope you enjoy, and thanks for watching!
