Unfortunately for the game "Darkest Dungeon" game capture doesn't work at all. But very helpful tips nonetheless - maybe for other games.

game capture simply doesn't work, only display works

nothing worked for me either until I found this method to remove black screen - use firefox browser and in firefox setting go to - general scroll down to - performance unclick use recommended performance and then unclick hardware acceleration.
