@@tnetroP I appreciate your feedback and thanks for watching.
I was at Burrs farm campsite, Caxterway Lane, Buxton this week for 3 nights, £10 a night. Great place I'll be back again before the season is up. 😊
@@S.p.a.c.e.C.o.w.b.o.y I’ll look that one up… I’m off out this weekend but have no plans or even direction yet 😂
Hi. Very lovely area. Stayed across the road before. The Manifold Inn did awesome food when there before Covid. There is a farm shop cafe in Hartington which became our refuge on a very stormy day. Even tho we were like drowned rats they welcomed us in. Great breakfast went down well too.
@@MotorbikeHamster it is isn’t it.. the Manifold Inn was spot on and food very good.. as you saw I was like a drowned rat on this visit 😂
Thanks for this Andrew. Im just looking for a site near Matlock as I might go up there and do a few lanes tomorrow. This is the opposite side of the peaks for me but my eldest lives in Macc so might be suitable another time. Might try the Duke of William tonight, right in town and attached to the pub - hopefully they've got a space for me! regards, Mike
@@twowheeledadventuresuk2739 I’ve been meaning to go to the Duke William, let me know what you think if you go
Stayed there for a couple of nights September 2020 😊 unfortunately the pub was shut☹️ still had a great time visited Hartington and had a cuppa at Wetton mill😃👍
@@grahamdavis8404 nice country pub as well… was that when things were all buggered up with Covid
Yes "COVID restrictions" had my first camp in July "that year" at The Red Lion Inn East Kirkby Lincolnshire, when they said we could go out and then a visit here in September, just love the fact you turn up pitch your tent and pay later when he comes round. Toilets were regularly cleaned and topped up toilet rolls "need the basics lol😂👍
@@grahamdavis8404 heck of a time wasn’t it! Yes, good little site and I like these simple ones 👍🏻
A shame there’s no showers but at 8 quid you can’t really complain.
@@Bob-_-Smith wouldn’t want to go a week without one but one or two days manageable.. good wash down and jobs a good un 😂

Whoever invented baby wipes needs a knighthood 🤣
@@Bob-_-Smith indeed so, funny thing is over the years I’ve never seen the point of those small bathroom flannels but now wouldn’t be without one on my travels
